While Celtic are in the middle of a month with six home games, we face Hearts on Sunday on their eighth consecutive home game and tenth game on the trot in Edinburgh. Runs of games like this do you no favours in the long run, but they provide pockets or benefit.
Training schedules for Hearts have been perfect during this period, without needing to factor in a trip to Dingwall, for example. Game plans will have been consistent and clear. There will be modifications for the visit of the champions, but we will face a team who are as ready as they could be for the challenge.
This letter from the Ticket Office:
Like many of you, I have several season tickets in my wallet right now. They are not always used by the named person (Martin42 has been unable to use his ticket since August (!) due to injury).
I have not been in touch with the club, so can only wonder what “the Celtic Ticket Office is not obliged to provide information about the named Season Ticket Holder to any third party” could be about. It is an obscure reference, as is “in all cases relating to Season Tickets photo ID is required”.
Letters like this are never produced purely to irritate, there will be an issue to be addressed. It will not be a mean-spirited attempt to stop you taking a friend to the occasional game – which we all do.
But if the issue is serious enough to write to all season ticket holders: explain, explain, explain. It’s not just the perma-rage-against-the-man-types (you don’t know who you are, so don’t bother wondering) who are troubled by this, some will be reluctant in future to invite a friend along to Celtic Park on a spare ticket.
Lessons learned, I’m sure.

Big Packy 7.09pm
My mother & fsther weren’t great fans of the Hibs walk, especially when we disliked the oranges walking from our street at 7am the Saturday before the 12th, but I remember the Hibs Hall in Coatdyke with very fond memories, before I was born my family were brought up in Crichton Street, before my time but you will know what is in Crichton Street, at least I avoided what my brothers & sisters grew up with right on their door step, small mercies :-)

I wasn’t there but my father told me it was the Coatbrig Accordion band that led the lorry, probably now better known as the CRFB :-)

TONTINE TIMs comments got me thinking. as a young bhoy in coatbridge. gerry fae the brig probably too young to remember the hibs walk. accordian bands in fact i may be corrected but it was the coatbridge accordian band that played in front of the lorry at parkhead yes parkhead not celtic park when i was a kid when the bhoys came home with the big cup feel free to argue im in an aggressive mood.lol.
*I was there that night, made my debut on the park, was like the buzz bomb when the polis came near me, that was truly “a lorry load of volunteers” that night, seemingly the streets were filled from the old Renfrew Airport tae Parkheid, I’m sure the CAB released a live album after this.
BTW the Hibs in Dumbarton were resurrected in the 60s and would often parade fae the Peoples Republic of Brucehill doon tae the High Street.

HH fella, eh, yer missing the point.
MO’N put a shield in front of his defence, and got us to our first European final in the all new colour TV era.
Ah don’t recall too many references to the cattenacio, back in those days.
Anywye,……….HH
…….oot.
CQN- We need to sign a centre half, ffs how many transfer windows before we sign a centre half? Brendan will be off if we don’t sign a centre half.
Looks like we are signing a centre half.
FFS we don’t want that one….

Look at the reaction of the “defenders” when the second goal goes in. No reaction just an acceptance that these things happen. I would be fuming if Celtic list a goal like that and the defenders just shrugged their shoulders
So I hear Marvin Compper is a done deal and all that has to be completed is his medical. No information on when the medical will take place or how long the deal is for.
Keep the Faith!
Hail Hail!

Would that be the same PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC, populated by names like Connolly, Gallagher etc. that some twenty years ago, had NO ASYLUM SEEKERS HERE on its roads and pavements.
Lennybhoy 8.24pm
Close the day with the ole Cqn coupon, is the big German Bhoy in the Office buying you a cold Guinness before he signs for the champions :-)
The Commpper signing is maybe Brendan shoring up the defence for the future….
Marvellous Marvin Compper, got to be innit:))

My point is that Brendan’s building a team based on attack from everywhere on the pitch, using speed of thought, skill, and execution.
Nowhere near there yet, got some proper bloody noses along the way, and we’ll get some more, but I would rather have that as a goal than an emphasis on defence.
And aye, I am aware that TV transmissions are now in colour. Miracle, eh.
HH to you.

I’ll be over for the Hibs match on the 27th Jan. Just not been able to get over sooner. Hope to get in at least another couple of matches before the end of the season.
Hopefully catch up with you on 27th.
Anyone think the zombie support have cottoned on yet that the only way they can stop ten in a row is to capitulate to Aberdeen ?
They upset mcinness. He upsets the players. They lose 2 games in a row to the monkey. Cost 6 points.
Those 6 points.
Aberdeen could be 4 ahead tonight.
Hahahahaha eejits.
2 points ahead , mon the hoops
Just got some fantastic news that one of CQN’s finest and nicest Bhoys

Delighted at that post, I would give the world for my mum to even have met my wee (only) girl, as the youngest of 5 my mother met many grandkids & even a few great grandkids but alas not mine…. hope she keeps you in your toes for many a year :-)
An interesting conversation later on during the night but those Moderators do a thankless task, sometimes some posts are best left for people to read :-)
Just reading comments on Man city V Spurs comments on BBC .
Many Man utd fans pissed off about City being a financially doped club.
Failing to see the irony that the entire epl is due to television.
Often see fans here arguing about entitlement but the English take the cake.
No wonder the huns love Queen and England.
The Ibrox club is like the British Empire and is a poor imitation of what it once was.
Fred C from previous article (that’s shawhead for you)
Robert Tressell
Got up at 6 am this morning to watch the cricket .
Steve Smith is something else .
Eyes like a bird and a mass of ticks and twitches .
Got to be an alien .
PS I heard Graham Murty asked Joe Root to switch gigs .
Joe told him to feck off .
Man U are huns in red shirts.
And Mourhino is a cheating diving diego who deserves nothing.
There, I said it.
C’MON THE CELTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man City outplayed a Spurs team that topped their CL group with Real Madrid. They are fantastic to watch and I doubt there is a better midfield player in the world at present than Kevin De Bruyne. Btw both Kane and Dele Alli should have been given straight red cards.
