A year ago, after a late 10-man winner against Dundee United, we gave ourselves a platform to go top of the table next time out, a status that was earned and not relinquished. Yesterday’s win against Dundee United was just as ominous for those hoping to get the better of Celtic.

Your thoughts may return to the caution Alexandro Bernabei received when the ball struck his arm, behind him, mid-jump, and wonder why the gaping inconsistencies persist in Scottish football.
Do not trouble yourself with that. Also, set aside any thoughts you may have that the punch on the head Kyogo received was worthy of a penalty. Instead, consider the new rule. If you stand on the ball and fall, you receive a foul*.
Liam Smith stood on the ball, tumbled, obstructed Reo Hatate and, according to Don Robertson, earned a foul. It was an egregious interpretation of the rules which highlights the scale of the challenge we face.

defender clearly pushes kyogo as he jumps, affecting the height he got to and forcing him to change direction – (rule – excessive use of force to push)
goalkeeper clearly hits back of kyogos head with his left hand, not a cleched fist punch, but back of hand skelp a better description, he still hits him, even as he gets the ball nano second first, getting the ball first does not mean the clatter while doing it is not a fouls, in fact it is a foul
(rule Careless, reckless, or excessive use of force to charge, jump, challenge, strike, an attacking player.)
If that aint good enough, the keeper high knees go through the back of kyogos legs, technically also a reckless challenge.
why all the sypathy for the decision, it was wrong, was Kyogo not hurt badly enough for you ?

Did anyone else notice, as Mooy lined up to take his spot kick, the number of United fans walking down the passages and out of the stadium? This on only the 56th minute. So much for loyal supporters.
Enjoyable match yesterday and overall a good team performance. Calmac has returned to the fray with renewed vigour , the layoff through injury seems to have been a benefit as he pushes the team to the title. Thought Greg Taylor was not at his best yesterday, his crossing was wayward. Jota was brilliant, this guy is full of surprises. Young Johnston was good but still has a bit to go to equal Jouranvic but he’s getting there. The Kyogo – keeper incident looked to me that the Japanese player was caught with one fist to the head while the goalie used his other to fist the ball clear.
