Over the summer I could frequently be heard muttering, “We need a left back”. Despite returning from injury at the turn of the year, Emilio Izaguirre was unable to command a regular starting place in the team. His occasions starts provided evidence why. With Charlie Mulgrew the most authoritative central defender in the squad the left back slot looked like our most vulnerable position.
Emilio’s early form this season was no better, especially in the Champions League qualifiers, but recent weeks has seen the player return to his very best. His confidence seems to have returned as he is taking opponents on with purpose which had been missing for over a year.
On this form, we can look forward to seeing him test himself at the Camp Nou.

MINX1888.
If your still on.
I don’t think I’ll be at the race night,Remember I’m going to Barcelona,I’ll need some money for the trip.
The last race night I was at I bid to own the last race winner I got £350 for it winning I also bet it, and I still lost a few hundred on the nights racing. It’s what you call a bad day at the races.
So,I think I’ll give it a miss this time.
Asked earlier on if CQN has already discussed the phone call Tommy from Glasgow made to Campbell Ogilvie last week.
If it has, can anyone point me to the day and the approximate time? Thanks.
If it hasn’t been discussed I will post some thoughts on it later. I think it’s complete dynamite and I think Tommy should get an award for showing what citizen journalism can achieve.
My start up disc is full .
I need to delete files.
How do I do this on a MacBook Air?

1) Drag to trash ( anything you don’t need )
Reboot
2) If you can’t get past the blue / gray screen
Disconnect, test peripheral devices and network cables
Note: “Peripheral devices” refers to external devices other than what came with your Mac, such as hard drives, printers, or hubs that you connect via a USB or FireWire cable.
Shut down your Mac. If necessary, hold your Mac’s power button for several seconds to force it to power down.
Disconnect all peripheral devices such as external hard drives or printers (leave only the display, a keyboard, and mouse connected).
Disconnect any Ethernet cables.
Start up your Mac.
If you can start up this way, one or more of your peripheral devices (or installed software related to the device) is probably causing the gray screen issue. Connect one device, then restart your Mac to test for the issue. Repeat the process until you locate the device at issue. Make sure the device is powered if it needs to be to operate correctly. Check with the manufacturer of the device for support or possible software driver or firmware updates that may be available for the device. Try a different cable with the device if possible (such as a different USB or FireWire cable).
Note: If you have multiple peripheral devices and the issue only occurs when they are all connected, but not when each device is the only peripheral connected, see the Additional Information section below.

This is the link for anyone who hasn’t heard Tommy.
If you want to cut to the chastisement, Campbell picks up the phone on 1:04:26.
Hope a few people are up for a discussion of what Campbell says to Tommy. I think some of his comments are very enlightening.
Once again, well done Tommy.

In the Willie Vass slide show are some very amusing pics of Coisty, McDowally, Durranty, Kitmany and Someotherblokey not seeing the funny side of the unfolding events.
Mort & Steinreignedsupreme
Thanks for the responses. Sorry for the late reply I had to go out.
Mort can you tell me what your data source is, so I can check it out. Are you aware of data sources generally. Anything on the SPL or SFA sites?
I’ll read your response properly tomorrow and get back to you. I’m prepared to invest some time to develop this because Steinreignedsupreme I don’t believe they are only incompetent. Yes that too but I believe also (some of them) completely biased.
Mort can I get your mail address from Paul to progress this away from the blog?
Warszawa.
Some of Campbell’s comments are very interesting.
“This is an investigation covering the period from 2001 to 2010. I left the club in 2005 and was secretary only until 2002. I’m just amazed that I keep getting pulled into things that happened when I wasn’t even at the club.”
Celtic_First
I just heard him saying that about a min ago, hunbelievable
Time travel: saw a film @ the weekend called ‘Looper’ ; very intelligent sci-fi time travel yarn, simultaneously nonsensical, but we enjoyed it.
See this business of you can’t occupy the same time as another version of yourself? Well, if every single cell in your body is different from the same cells seven years before, then if a seven year (or more) older or younger version of yourself travelled through time to where you are now, then that rule would not apply, surely, Shirley?
Apart from all the other difficulties…..
……anyway, Looper was really enjoyable and I will be buying the dvd on its release.
If I could travel in time, I would constanty surprise Sally and I.D.Smith by popping in and out of time and booting them in the cojones on a random basis.
I would do lots of other things but a wee bit of crazy nonsense goes a long way to relieving the tedium.
Celtic_First
How he is still in a job at the SFA is something that hasn’t been focused upon enough by the MSM, why is that?
As far as I’m concerned he should have been suspended pending full investigation, public enquiry? Well they always say Wonga FC are an institution (so is Carstairs!!) so a full enquiry into decades of corruption in our national sport would not be a waste of taxpayers money in my humble opinion.

RCO: “I’m more than happy that the [SPL-appointed three-man] commission carries on with its investigation and then come out with its findings thereafter. And if people think at that stage that my involvement, and I’ve said this openly, is causing the [Scottish Football] Association any issues, then, yes, I’ll look at that [the possibility of doing the honourable thing and falling on his sword] again. But let’s get the results from the commission first of all.”

Very, very, very important point.
The bhould Tommy describes himself in the preamble to this as “an investigative journalist of ill repute”.
This, amigos, means that what Ogilvie told Tommy is absolutely, cast iron, on the record.
Hertz tickets at Tynie look like being the most expensive away game of the year rolling in at £30 for upper and £28 for lower tier. Then add transaction fees postage etc but worth the effort for a good bevy and a laugh for 2 hours!
Is 2005 not between 2001 -2010 ?
Has the president of the SFA’s involvement in his previous role at tynecastle ever been examined?
why would the SFA employ someone who was recently employed by Mr Romanov who has shown nothing but contempt for them?
Hmmmm…..
