Back in July I wrote about Commons “dependence on one creative talent feels like an unnecessary vulnerability”. We remain (unnecessarily) dependent on our only creative talent, as subsequent games without him have established. If he’s not in the starting line-up, we’ll need a radical change of system.
Bringing a second creative talent to the club should be a priority. On this subject, I hear Bosnian fulcrum, Semir Stilic, who we were reportedly interested in a few years ago, before he detoured for a indifferent spell in Turkey, is now back in Poland with Wisla Krakow and eclipsing his earlier form for Lech Poznan. We could do worse.

Zagreb have Duje Cop as their main striker. I was pushing for him to come to Celtic before we signed Guidetti and Scepovic. I am sure he will wind up with a top club.
We were after their right sided forward Soudani.
Angelo Henriquez has signed for them on loan from Man U.
Other players look very similar to our own recruitment policy. Similar in profile but remains to be seen if they are more technical or are deployed better as a unit.
I would hope we set up appropriately to face them but I wouldn’t bet against Dinamo scoring.

Not surprised at Danny Welbecks success at Arsenal. I thought he was England’s best player at the Woeld Cup. He just needed to play in the right position and have someone believe in him. Arsene may have a fixation with developing talent others can’t see but what he had with Henry may well be repeated.

My Gawd, I had no idea the life of a pro footballer at the highest level was so physically demanding!! The workrate, effort and sheer energy sapping routine they punish themselves with is astonishing.. surely they cant put their bodies through that any more than once a week!!
