    Well done Celtic getting a draw over there in a game that mattered more to the home team, very good goal, should have had a penalty amazing how often we do not get these calls, Bitton needs to move the ball quicker

    Back to civilisation tomorrow .have enjoyed the blog DURING the matches. No more 2 EU a pint lager and wall to wall sunshine but I will get to see the famous Glasgow Celtic ‘in the flesh’ . Would have been nice to end with a win as I said to the patrons here but nae chance of that. Say what you like about KC (and I say plenty) but there is usually a goal in there somewhere. BTW good to see BMCUWP with all those add-ons is back ,but ,then I am biased!

    Well goodbye Europe for another season my conclusion on this season that if we could have cut out the daft un-enforced errors we would have qualified from the group.However,Cifti looks flat footed and cumbersome have faith in Ronny he will get it right.H.H.

    Happy with a 1-1 draw in Turkey against a team who habe spent buckets of money on transfers and wages .. markovic is on loan from Liverpool ( they paid £20m for him )

    Ajax and Fenerbahce were no better than us despite the cash or youth system

     

     

    Molde were a surprise and we suffered the most

     

     

    Our great seasons in Europe come down to margins, our disasters the same

     

     

    What constitutes average?

     

     

    We thought 2001/2 and 2003/4 were great when we missed out on last 16.

     

     

    We loved 2002/3 when we won nothing

     

     

    2006 and 2012’we snuck through but played little football

     

     

    I prefer a team that can pass and move and misses the margins like this team than watching millionaires getting grannied or conservative teams do well

     

     

    Love Celtic right now, especially the Scots players

    As poor a performance as most of the other euro ties. Poor individual shows , lack of real desire , bad decisions by all the players . Made no use of the extra man . Where has the dymanic, all-action ,ultra fit , mobile pressing game dissapeared to?

    On a night when the back four were steady ironic that Gordon’s mistake proved crucial and Kris Commons’s great header, was a mere face saver. Ronny Deila will claim some sort of victory, but how different will the staffing look this time next year?

     

     

    The bottom line is three points and last in the EL group, we can’t blame Molde for upsetting where we were

     

    predicted to finish.

    3 players brought through Lennoxtown played a part tonight.

     

    Rather than spend ridiculous amounts of cash on projects or worse like Balde or Ciftci why not show faith in some of our own.

     

    Can anyone enlighten me on any youngsters given a chance that were so out their depth like the 2 mentioned.

     

    We need to spend more wisely while saving some by giving youth a proper chance.

    Good result to come back from CGs howler. Hopefully we can bed in the defence without the pressure of European matches. Still worry about Gordon though.

     

     

    Ajax and Fenerbahce knew that it was a tougher group than expected. Molex were the surprise package. I would like to see Commons and Brown given player coach roles in the future.

    A Euro group of very fine margins with the” Big 3″ separated by a fag paper and the also rans of Molde romping it.

     

     

    Nonetheless its a results business an the results have been poor.

    I know all teams make gaffes, how would we have done in the group without our serious gaffes?

    A point away from home in Turkey sounds good but underlying performance uninspiring. fat too many misplaced passes and lack of movement. And without Broony, we have no leader dominating on the park.

     

     

    Snatched an equaliser against 10 men but did not press home our man advantage – too many square passes (again) and not enough vision once Allan went off. Not enough pace and movement off the ball creating openings.
