Tonight Aberdeen play the second of a run of three consecutive away games. After overcoming St Johnstone 3-4 in Perth a week ago they are on the road to face Inverness. The Highlanders have not lost in a month, and haven’t lost at home since the visit of Celtic in November, so John Hughes men will provide a stern test for Aberdeen.
Aberdeen are back on the road to Firhill on Friday night. Their season has been free of fixture congestion. This is a rare week with two games, and an even rarer one with two away games. It could be a pivotal period in the campaign.
Celtic won comfortably in the end against Ross County but confidence seemed at a low ebb until Leigh Griffiths opened the scoring. Sentiment may have swung in our favour before we take to the field at home to Inverness on Saturday.

Daft reds to ICT ,obviously.
When Ronnie comes out with the cautionary comments about Roberts re “fitness,up to speed” etc.I despair.
Why,because the same Ronnie for the last 3 games I believe, brings on Forrest for the last 10 mins and he contributes ZERO ,so what is it with this guy he tries the same thing repeatedly with NO end product.
Cant be any risk giving Roberts a run,we play with Forrest so where’s the risk.
Regarding the Inverness game, loss of Hayes a key element in my view.
According to freestate Celtic are beating Dunfermline 4 0 (14 minutes ago)
Christie with 2 andRoberts also with 2
Bada
Not at all, I watched it on the presser and Ronny implied a delay in when we’d see Patrick Roberts. I think thats fair enough when you consider the other pro’s whose nose would be out of joint if Paddy was thrown right in at his age, ahead of everyone.
That said, hope he does for Saturday.
It’s 4-1 BT. Fair play to Dunfermline.
Cheers corkie
I casually switched on radio shortbread to hear the game and then Aberdeen took the lead. I switched the radio and what happens ?
One each.
Such is the power of the radio (writes the man who stayed in the bath and kept the radio on, to ensure Scotland kept the lead against France in September 2007)
JJ-hope you are taking it easy on the bike this weather HH

I wouldn’t call a 2nd yellow card to Ash Taylor a daft red ;-)
First time I’ve seen the sheep this season, not impressed at all. Also wish the guy would stop saying they could go top tonight, only if it was a cricket score…..
Pen Ict
2-1
Only one Ash Taylor, one Ash Taylor:))))))
Pen for ICT. Ash Taylor does it again. 2-1 :-))
BSR-we are badly in need of someone to light CP up right now, don’t want to put pressure on a young boy,but he seems confident enough HH
2-1 ICT
Yer dosh
Hopefully !
Shocking decision by Gollum
I’ll tell ye, ye think big Efes a bomb scare…
I give you, Ash Taylor…
Surely even the norwegian pe instructor can’t throw the league away now
Not seen it lads was it a penalty? Shortbread say no
Oh dear – woe is me!
:-)
Steady Bhoys golum still to have his anti Celtic moment!!!
The kind of penalty that we wouldn’t have got. But it would have been awarded against us!
So does Sutton
Some interesting comments regarding the CEO failure in last post
Have to Laff at the Peter fan club staying we can’t afford to speculate
Not seen any of the Lawell out team ( true Celtic fans). Say that
We spend enough money but just wrongly
As one poster said. We need projects and experience and youth in our team
Not all projects. That’s why we don’t have a chance at CL as the lesser teams that we get beat by , would sign a 30 year old if he was good for team
Pps. Insult to intelligence paul 67. As if anything that happens at Aberdeen will have any bearing on the league
The rubber plant in the foyer at Celtic park could be the manager and we will still be champions
Stop trying to bum up things that are not important to Celtic
Champions league qualifiers are important to Celtic Focus on that and you might realise it’s more important to back fans than a failed CEO
Dangerous play ,possibly clipped the players studs. A bit harsh but a penalty all the same.
No pen for me
Bada
At least you only get supporters in the stadium.
I think Paddy might make the bench after tonight.
Roberts subbed after 75 minutes based on Tweets looks like he had another great game. Hopefully Ronny has him in mind for at least the bench next Saturday.
Collum at his best tonight!
Who is the English guy co-commentating? He certainly does not like Celtic very much judging by the comments I have heard him make.
Murdochauldandhay,
Taylor`s foot was certainly high ( and he might have caught Draper`s foot as well )but I would have been annoyed had it been given against us .
JJ
If Sutton and Shortbread say no, that should tell us all we need to know.
Ash Taylor gave away a needless penalty against us at CP earlier in the season.
Dangerous high boot clear penalty – remember Efe’s innocuous contact?
A non penalty from Collum
Now giving everything to Sheep
Sutton “hes losing the plot”
Taylor makes that challenge on the halfway line, is it a free kick?
