Focus shifts to Pittodrie

Tonight Aberdeen play the second of a run of three consecutive away games. After overcoming St Johnstone 3-4 in Perth a week ago they are on the road to face Inverness. The Highlanders have not lost in a month, and haven’t lost at home since the visit of Celtic in November, so John Hughes men will provide a stern test for Aberdeen.

Aberdeen are back on the road to Firhill on Friday night. Their season has been free of fixture congestion. This is a rare week with two games, and an even rarer one with two away games. It could be a pivotal period in the campaign.

Celtic won comfortably in the end against Ross County but confidence seemed at a low ebb until Leigh Griffiths opened the scoring. Sentiment may have swung in our favour before we take to the field at home to Inverness on Saturday.

Johnny Hayes is, arguably, Aberdeen`s most effective player. Big blow for the Dandies if he is out for any length of time.

so INV.CAL. get a penalty against ABERDEEN and we get a reason for decision 2 min.later live on tv.

when did this start PLEASE ANYBODY.????????

  3. For those that were still in their seats on Saturday afternoon at about the 85 minute mark, Bitton (I think) took a knock, traineress came on and then Charlie bombed down the touchline to do a warm up. Howeeeevvvvvva….we had already used our 3 subs!

  4. If you have your foot high to bring ball under control and opponent kicks so high that you can see his boot size your survival instinct will be to contort your body to avoid contact. If this means you go down it does not make it a dive.

However this does not allow for the agenda as pushed by Sutton and Shortbread ie Aberdeen are being shafted

Funny how they never see it as such when we get done.

PFAyr – I don’t think he’s giving everything to the sheep, I think he’s just a really poor referee. Aberdeen should have had a corner in the first half just before they scored, obvious the keeper touched it onto the bar and he gives a GK. Was never a Pen either….

Fleetwood and they are beating the dandy dons 3 1

  9. I can only assume the linesman stuck his flag up thinkining that the ICT player had won the head flick on? Definitely the Aberdeen defender so correct decision and 3-1. Which is nice.

  10. I think the linesman thought the ball was headed on by an ict player when it was actually the dons dude.
