GRIFFITH IS GOING NOWHERE

LEEDS UNITED have been told they have NO chance of signing Leigh Griffiths in the summer.
The Elland Road side valued the in-form Celtic striker in the £1million bracket, but a bid in that region would be met with scorn by the SPFL champions.
It is understood that there was genuine interest from the Championship outfit in the 24-year-old, but Ronny Deila has no intention of parting with the frontman who has scored 15 goals in 20 games since the turn of the year.
Griffths, who was signed by ex-boss Neil Lennon for £1million from Wolves in January 2014, is under contract at Parkhead until 2018. Overall, he has claimed 26 goals from 54 appearances.
His form has earned him a recall by Gordon Strachan to the Scotland international squad for next month’s games against Qatar at Easter Road and the Republic of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Although Griffiths is staying, there are still question marks over his frontline partnners Anthony Stokes, Teemu Pukki and Amido Balde while it looks highly unlikely John Guidetti will remain in Glasgow after Sunday’s final SPFL game against Inverness Caley Thistle.
Stokes, who is in O’Neill’s Irish squad for the Euro 2016 tie against the Scots on 13th June, has been linked with old gaffer Lennon at Bolton while MLS outfit Colorado Rapids have been credited with an interest.
Pukki and Balde have spent the greater part of the campaign out on loan and the Hoops will sell the misfits to bring in funds for Deila to utilise as he strengthens his squad for the Champions League qualifiers.
