We created first half chances against Hearts.

The second half was similar to today lots of sideways and backwards passing followed by hopeful crosses.

The first half against Hearts were we created chances was unusual in comparison to this seasons performances.

Thanks for your concern over my eyesight but i can see fine.

You sure about your eyesight, Celtic 6 Dundee 0

  2. This was not a day for playing silky football , this was a battle make no mistake

A good 3 points to take & closing the gap to 1 point was all that mattered today

Ps the guy from Brisbane keep up the good work your a laugh a minute

  3. More inspirational posts from the usual suspects, Brisbane67 I suspect you are not a motivational coach, I can only guess what reception you would get from the team spouting your continual negative diatribe, always try and take some positives from the negatives, alien concept to you I’m afraid. Aye sack the board and Peter Lawwell buy Desmondo’s shares -who? – Great that’s everything sorted. Nice wee rant there by Ronnie to theBT lady. H H Hebcelt

    Get into them Ronny.

Job done, performance not so good on the Hamilton ice rink. Did we forget our skates?

GFTB-well done on your LMS5 week 1 prediction.

  5. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Darian McKinnon is a big Tim from Dumbarton.

Seven years ago he was playing amateur .

Three years at Clydebank juniors then the past three years at the Accies.

He was lucky to get away with the forearm on Izzy.

We got our job done today and three points to put pressure on the Dons.

I’m going to watch my son’s game now and see if they can break their league duck.

  6. Snecker,

Get that goldfish up to lennoxtown I’m sure the scouting team will be interested, is its name billy the fish perchance, used to read about him, what a goalie.

  7. lennon's passion on

Very very poor today but last 2 games I’ve watched Celtic be the better team and not win. 3 points wee break and Kevin Bridges tonight. Oh and curry happy days.

Jude, that’s what I said – I wouldn’t have one as a present. I’m asking on behalf of my wife though! We had a very late night. Ffin Casinos and their late licenses…Black cabs are usually good I’ve found in the past. Need to work out who to phone.

  10. Forgot to mention. Ronny blasted the pitch like something more suited for ice hockey. Good man.

  11. Try not to laugh:

After Dick Advocaat resigned, who would you like as the next Sunderland manager?

Jack Swanston: Who do I want as the next Sunderland manager? Anyone who’ll give Duncan Watmore a start.

Riyaz: It’s obvious – Rodgers to Sunderland, Mourinho to Liverpool and erm Advocaat to Chelsea..

Gavin: I would say try and tempt David Moyes. Perfect choice. Unfinished business in the premiership

Ian: Think for Sunderland’s next manager I’d be looking at Sam Allardyce or Ally McCoist.

  12. Our game can never progress until it’s officiated properly & we start playing by the same rules as everyone else. Today was more in keeping with the rugby World Cup our officials are a disgrace.

  13. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Mon the hoops, leigh possibly was offside but I was frustrated with us not playing the ball quick enough today.

The linesman at the gazebo stand was veryquick with his flag a number of times in the second half.

Are you a politician highlighting things in isolation to suit your viewpoint.

How many game s have we struggled to create chances.

As for Dundee their coach got it spectacularly wrong that day and everything came off for us.

I am sure about my eyesight and also of you.

  15. Gerryfaethebrig on

Dallas hope Dallas junior team gets a result remember don’t be on of those parents shouting abuse at the kids, we all make mistakes even Nir Biton

  16. Scintilating performance against a team just marginally below us and likely to up there challenging us at the end of the season. This team and Ronny could eventually outshine the Lisbon Lions and Big Stein if Mr Lawell could keep them together

  17. West End of East End on

Take the 3 points and move on, some roasters on here during the game. You really do get the feeling they want to see Celtic get beat to reinforce their view, either that or they are huns at the wind up.

Great interview Ronny, telling it as it is..

  18. Ellbhoy think you are being very unfair none of them even remotely as bad as some of our refs. H H Hebcelt

Phone your phone, sometimes human beings surprise you and whoever has it will answer and arrange a meet, if you phone it and phone is off some bam has turned it off so they don’t need to answer, get Apple to block it, but definitely try phoning it, my good lady left her phone once and we phoned it and she got it back…… I wish I could lose mine for good

  20. Greenpinta,

Have you got a problem with people who suffer short term memory loss with a stutter, not very PC my friend :) remember children read this blog, outrageous so it is, why won’t someone think about the children.

Down with this sort of thing :)

    Gerry,

Thanks. She had it on silent as luck would have it. It’s just ringing out. My son left one once in a cab and the driver was an absolute diamond. Got it back a few days later.

  22. That killer goal could have cost us the game, we only had 50 mins to recover the other night and look what happend but worse, today we gave them 91 mins but played much much better and Efe no playing made all the difference I suspect.

  23. Crap pitch, decent opposition, under par performance for the B team.

happy to take the 3 pts and run

Have you tried sending a message via Find My iPhone App . If it was a black Glasgow hack there is only one number to phone 0141 429 7070 however if you hailed the cabin the street and it was a non-radio motor there is no number to phone other than the lost property at the polis on Monday

It’s an internet message board, you’re going to have a different opinion to yours else why post what you did. Or were you wanting everyone to just type “great post”??

You said we don’t create any chances I gave you 2 examples this season, you dismissed them both as it doesn’t suit your opinion.

Even today we created enough to score twice and mess up a couple of easy breakaways. How many chances are you expecting us to create per game? How many goals should we be scoring per game?

  26. The _huddle,

We should be creating 15 per game and scoring at least 8 every game but that’s just my sense of entitlement and expert opinion :)

  27. And for the record, goldfish have long memories, can be taught how to do tricks and can live up to 40 years. Fact! ;)

  28. Just back.

Well done Celtic, on a pitch we struggled to master, an agricultural opponent and a bitter referee.

Our lack of cohesion and organisation in defence was a real worry today with players clearly disagreeing on where they should be standing when defending corners and free kicks around the box.

Regardless, the 3 points were secured and that’s what matters.

    NEGANON2 on 4TH OCTOBER 2015 2:38 PM

Originalsadiesbhoy while its pleasing we won that game (it was a dogfight) I think anyone watching that game would see that Celtic are a poor side. Disjointed and a deep malaise.

Niece to hear Ronny forgetting angry there. But I fear he is just in denial.

    …………………………

I watched that game and disagree thatCeltic are a poor side. We played poorly today. Different thing altogether. Possible reasons could be abut of fatigue with many of our players playing two games a week since before the League season officially began. Suspensions and injuries and let’s not underestimate the effect of the very slippery, artificial pitch. Oh and we also had to suffer a Hun referee who let Hamilton players foul with impunity but couldn’t wait to get a yellow card out to penalise Celtic players for the slightest infraction, real or imaginary.

This poor Celtic team went to the Amsterdam Arena and brought back a point, having led twice. We were so poor that we managed to go into a two goal lead after playing excellent football against both Fenerbahce and Malmo. Defensive errors cost us in both games but we lost neither game against good opposition. Sure we have problems with so many new defenders Janko, Boyata, Blackett and not forgetting Simunovic. These guys need time to bed in and adapt to a new environment. Lustig remains an excellent player whom the manager can’t always rely on. We have Izzy, Efe and young Kieran which makes about 8 players who have featured in the back four this season. Ronny will settle on his best options soon and we will kick on from there.

We are a point behind the League leaders and we are still in Europe where we are second top of the group after two games. I think we are in a position that would be the envy of many clubs. A few problems to resolve, sure, but a ‘poor side’, ‘a deep malaise’ and ‘something seriously wrong’, only in your world, Neganon.
