Utter rubbish. McGregor a passenger have won nothing in midfield. Janko having a mare. Lucky to be only one down. If they score again we will crumble.

Good to hear the whistle, we can regroup. It was never going to easy over there but with changes and a tweek here and there we can do it.
The heat is obviously a theme and our formation needs to change, Brendan is not a man who will watch his team be outplayed without changing it.
We have looked like we can score a coulee of times and I think we will score.

Janko won’t be on second half.
He is a defensive nightmare.
Nearly headed it straight to them at the end there.
Fortunate he hasn’t cost us more.
Is Paddy on the bench?
Our biggest game of the season and we haven’t turned up. Only Sinclair offering any threat. We need to do something to break their total domination of midfield. I would think about Rogic and Paddy in the second half.

Only upside is that it could, perhaps should have been more – totally perplexed by the weakness of the performance – would like to see Forrest and Sinclair drop wings.
get tighter work harder, they seem to be using their wide player a lot bringing them into the game with diagonal balls from the centre circle our midfield are letting them dictate the game.

Disappointing from us, tbh. We are conceding possession in too many areas of the field. I expected Be’er to press but we have been chaotic. Janko off, Erik on and Rogic for McGregor at HT. Last sub depending on how game progresses.

Quickly, get Janko and McGregor off. Straight back 4. Let the full backs close their wingers earlier. As it is, our bhoys are allowing their midfield pick out unmatked wingers. Griffith needs more support. Rogic for McGregor. Even the simple high ball over the top is causing us trouble. Time for Brian to show us why he is here.

Agree about defending deep… We’re also press in high?? That’s suicide and why we can’t retain possession. A few wrong decisions when we’ve broke to. Sinky great feet then fluffed the Hollywood shot on a 4 v 4
