  1. The team starting would have raised a lot of eyebrows a couple of weeks ago.

Would like to have seen Abada rather than Maeda but the balance of left and right side may favour Maeda and JF.

    GG deserves to start too.

Hail Hail and another 3 points please.

  2. Celtic team to face Hearts: Hart, Ralston, Carter-Vickers, Jenz, Bernabei, Mooy, O’Riley, Hatate, Forrest, Maeda, Giakoumakis

Substitutes: Siegrist, Taylor, Kyogo, Haksabanovic, Abada, McCarthy, Ideguchi, Abildgaard, Juranovic

  3. For me, we’ve started a stronger side on Wednesday in the cup than we have today at Tynecastle, which is a wee bit strange. Ange may be looking ahead to Tuesday which is fair enough.

I’m happy to see Boyce and Mackay-Steven out for them, both those lads have caused us trouble in the past.

A couple of early goals today please, Celtic. Maeda in particular will regain a lot of credit if he can put in a good display at Tynecastle.

  4. MM – Wish we could get tickets for away games.

But getting away tickets nowadays is a shambles.

Anyways COYBIG 1 – 3 to the Famous.

Three games inside 7 days sees AP’s rotation plan again where certain players don’t play two games in a row.

Maeda is more effective on the left and James Forrest knows Tynecastle inside out. Rotating full backs is a more unsettling move IMO. But as he says he picks his sides “ to win a football match “

Everybody away to the gemme ? Lol.

    MM…..

What would your starting 11 be 😂 unless of course you agree with big Ange 🤔😂🇮🇪☘️🍀

    COYBIG….. Aff oaf oot 🍻

  7. We should not be prioritising any games.

Win your next game with your strongest team is the mantra we should be sticking to.

But I will trust Big Ange.

    Hopefully my 3 -1 is wrong and it’s a rout and 6, 7, 8, 9.

    D :)

  8. Bernebei. looked too have. struck up a fine partnership with Haksa in Hibs game, but Maeda tests the nod today.Sometimes I find. Ange thinking strange.Maeda yet to convince he does enough for me.Not a place for passengers today.

As you say looking ahead to Tuesday, next week, whenever.

Using a strong squad, keeping players happy, all getting game

    time.

    Does it for me.

  12. got our muscle on with big Gio and Ralston starting

  14. Must admit I’m a wee tad concerned with our team today , this is a big game today and make no mistake they will try a lot harder than they did a few weeks ago , add Walsh to the mix and we could be up against it , but maintaining our lead at the top is just as important , we have dropped 3 of our comfortable 5 point lead over that mob . Hope I’m wrong here . HH

  15. I think today is a more important game than the league cup or CL. So I’m surprised by the starting line up.

  16. JIMTIM

You’re right to be wary, but we’re always up against it

in the land of hun dome.

In my mind ANGE understands, clever man, it’s a long

    season, KTF.

    I know you will.

  17. Of course, we are concerned about the team line up before the game. Our anxieties are often greatly reduced by half time with this current Celtic.

But Hearts away is one of those fixtures where concerns are justified, regardless of the team.

The good news is they are not in form and if we can dominate the ball, we can put them back in their box. We have a settled midfield and a settled centre defence and goalie. Our concerns are about the link up between full backs and wingers. So, let’s see Bernabei, Forrest and all rise to that challenge.

  19. Just scanned back this one page. Unbelievable negativity.

    Logging off.

    Not for me.

    Back after the game.

  20. A little like last week I am concerned it is not our strongest team in a tricky fixture. Hopefully team will prove I’m completely wrong (again) but agree strongly about left side being significantly weaker with Maeda rather than Haksa – maybe there is a wee knock?
