Helsingborgs IF are sixth after 17 games in the Swedish Allsvenskan, seven points off Elfsborg and Malmo, who ended Scotland’s interest in the Champions League last season. Our opponents clearly play it tight on the road, they have lost only eight goals away from home, considerably fewer than anyone else in the league (Malmo: 19), although their home goals for and against are not unusually low (scored 14 to Malmo’s 16 at home, conceded nine to Malmo’s one).
Helsingborgs have lost only three league games, fewer than anyone else. Four draws from nine home games appears to have cost them most ground in the title race.
Celtic can expect to face a tight defence who are well versed at shutting teams out in the second leg in Glasgow where they will need the creative talents of Kris Commons with perhaps Paddy McCourt p[laying a role. A big European-night atmosphere at Celtic Park will be invaluable.

Driving either, South Across the Kingston Bridge on the M8 or West along the M74 to join M77/M8 there is a perfect spot on the Kingston Storage Building to erect a massive banner welcoming all Division 3 teams to Glasgow.
Go on GB. You know you want to.

Posted this last night but didn’t see a answer. My local landlord has bought a tv package for his pub from a company called Grayson Ltd., Byres Road. I saw the docs they gave him and am a little suspicious.
Anyone heard anything about them?
Cheers.

Has anyone in the MSM asked Charlie why he has not spent the £30million that he promised by 31st July?
Last day at Olympics, will be in stadium cheering on a ‘decent’ Super Mo for gold.

Porridge, bannocks an’ a dram, slug o’ tea, a piece‘n’ jam
Breakfast done, dressed to the nines, as thousands march in tartan lines
Chanters primed, pipes in tune, Glasgow’s woken, birlin soon
Kilts and dirks, sporrans, trews, céilidhs, flings, black patent shoes

Morning all from a hazy North Ayrshire.
A wee bit anxious about a possible drubbing tonight but am delighted that our old manager will be commentating. Gordon Strachan has never been been anything but enthusiastic about us. He’s proved himself a right god Tim imo.
Morning,
If anyone is feeling a little down they would do worse than go on to AFC and have a look at some of the banners those cheeky Aberdeen fans have along the road to Peterhead…..

Enjoy the athletics. I was there Tuesday night and it was a fantastic experience.
Very much a family atmosphere – a bigger queue at the coffee bar than the alcohol one!
Everyone very friendly and the set up is super organised. Get there early to have a look at the other venues.
Bring binoculars as unless you have a super seat it’s hard to get an idea of some of the field events. Make sure you record it on tv!
The Falcon
Liked Dandy Don’s post on that –
“I was posed with a good question earlier when my da’ said they had been punished already.
What punishment (reasonable remember) would you give to The Rangers and why?
They would have to insert “Bigot” into their names.
Give up the 20 or so trophies won during cheating and melt everything in the trophy room for cash to pay off St John’s Ambulance.
Scottish Cup and League Cup bans for as many years as they won them while cheating (4 and 5 or something?)
That would do, as they are officially a new club remember “
Decent draw for us I think – not that they are a bad team but because the travelling isn’t too bad. And I wonder if Mr Larsson fancies being the guest of honour at the return leg?n
What a lovely wee girl Nicola Adams is! (She won the first ever ladies boxing medal at the Olympics)
Personally I’ve found the whole experience emotional and uplifting.
Just got my letter from Ticket office manager informing me my regular season ticket seat is not available for the Helsingborg game, as a member of the home cup ticket scheme Celtic will deduct on 16th August the price of a ticket and select an alternative seat for me…………………………….
Not happy with CFC today
Morning gents.
Lovely sunny day down here in NW England.
BBQ followed by Celtic Vs Real Madrid – fantastic.
As for the huns, well they could not be more accurate today with their ‘WATP’ – We’re Away To Peterhead
Sevco FC – The gift that keeps on giving :-)

Does that mean your seat won’t be available to you if we get to the group stages?
