Fully behind the manager but the last few games reminded me of last season. No spark, no creativity and nothing from the manager to change things. Kept 10 players on for 90 minutes with only Rogic coming off. What’s the idea behind that?
We just have no bite ….no snap into tackles…nothing in opposition box!!…..but we are not going to win every game……but Livingston concerns me……we really could do with a Kyogo lift….missed the big man today
Maeda has a first class attitude, but he plays like a fast defender rather than someone whose job us to score. Not a single penetrating run off the ball, not a single chance. And not untypical.

Don’t agree with criticism of Maloney.
He has responsibility to Hibs. He set up today as he saw it, also to nullify our main threats.
He doesn’t need to play the ideal game from a Celtic perspective.
He got his tactics right.

That was our eighth match this month, and I think it showed that we have not been able to sustain the same effort and performance we started February with. Games per week will ease off in due course, but not just yet, got the Saints at home on Wednesday. Not sure about all the high balls into the box, when the low ball was creating more danger, and of course missed GG in that six yard box. Still top going into March, with only three league games to play in the month ahead. Lets prioritise the next game!
Huge pressure on now for St Mirren and then of course Livingston.

every season, even an invincible one, and a lions one , had poor performances, away draws, bad refereeing, and slips of some sort. I am away to find out if we ever had a season without a 0-0 draw in it.

how many of our current players have been over course and distance in their short careers ?
as a support, grow a pair, stop the whining, use the set back and get back up.

Here’s the ref getting it again ,nothing to do with Clancy but he is the usual scapegoat for our team and manager for our performance.
Ange says Gio was ill today. Leaving us with very little up front.
There was no one on the bench to bring on in an attacking position.
Maeda isn’t a centre forward. Ange is the victim of his own success.
We will still be top later today.
Agree about the Joe Hart farce with two minutes to go. Taylor told him to kick it up the park as he ran on. I wish we stopped messing around at the back.
The midfield was poor especially Callum whom one expects more off. Stopped counting the number of misplaced passes. Corners and free kicks appear to be something that we do not profit from. What goes on at training and why when an amateur like me can question the poor return from these is nothing been done about it?
Two poor teams, to be honest. Hibs got the point they wanted and Celtic only upped the tempo a bit, but not the quality, at the fag end of the 96 minutes.
We don’t score from corners or free kicks, so, if we don’t score from open play, we don’t score.
Wee slip up today but Im behind the manager.

If Hibs were looking to lower the tempo, that’s their prerogative. We could and should have dictated the pace. We couldn’t.
If illegal time wasting was happening, I’d expect the ref to manage that.
No complaints about the Hibs tactics.
I’m sure we’d play differently were we playing Real Madrid. (actually, we probably wouldn’t!)

We struggled to attack the Hibs goal.
We struggled to attack their box.
Everything was side to side.
No desire.
surely if gio was ill then you would have other back up on the bench young Kenny even , gets worse.
88 minutes at 0 – 0 and Celtic having a free kick close to their own goal line manage to concede a corner.
That takes some doing.
A dim-witted, lackadaisical rudderless performance from all involved.
And as for Hibs, it seems that Maloney’s sick note reputation as a player has infected his team. I hope their season and his managerial career crash and burn.

“We controlled the whole game, we had them playing in the right areas. It isn’t easy when the opposition have got so many bodies in the box, things have got to be pretty precise and things didn’t go our way.
“When teams sit so deep it’s hard. We can bomb balls into the box all day long but that’s not the team we want to be, we have a way of playing and we want to open teams up. We just missed that final touch.
“I always look at the performance, we controlled the game for the duration, we just didn’t get the bounce in the right areas. We didn’t get the goal I thought we deserved.”

Maloney does what most managers do , its up to us to break them down and we are not to good at it.
Not surprised today not going to complain about any player or the manager as i think it’s all been said.
There’s a time for “bombing balls into the box” and that was certainly today.

Why do you always feel the need to pepper your valid criticism of poor performances with attacks on fellow CQNers for what they posted in the recent past?

Having so many players not playing as we’re use to would suggest something fundamentally wrong. Ange has done well but his game management has always been questionable for me. Today hasn’t changed that opinion.
If Ange and his staff can’t inject some life into us then it’ll be another 0-0 next Sunday.
We’re at worst a point ahead today, I’d have taken that at the start of the month but my goodness we need to see vast improvement soon.
