The next 19 days sees Celtic in action against Hearts twice, Leipzig twice, Hibs (tomorrow) and Dundee, the latter the only prosaic occasion among them. How we negotiate this period will go a long way to determine our domestic and European season.
Brendan will almost certainly rest Tom Rogic after his midweek trip to Kuwait but with five days until we face Leipzig, I expect a full strength team for the visit of Neil Lennon’s side.
Hibs are above us in the league for a reason, they have lost only twice this season (once domestically and once in Europe) and have the best goal difference in the league. They did very well home and away against us last season and Neil will ensure his team have no concerns about visiting Celtic Park this term.
The players know the scale of the challenge ahead, which should bring the best out of them. A sneaky feeling we might end the weekend top of the league too.

Thanks, I’m sure Leipzig will be good but we need to get a result as well. We were in Heraghty’s last night trying to figure out which meaningful European away match that any of us had been at to see a win. Nobody had managed Anderlecht last season. We came up with a blank.
