This time next week Celtic will have played two competitive games, both at home, and we will have a chance to properly assess preseason preparations. Even if victories are achieved against HJK Helsinki and Aberdeen the challenges for the remainder of the month, with at least four and possibly five games away from Celtic Park, with the possibility of only one home game, in the final Champions League qualifying round, will ensure Celtic are tested to their limit.
Two trips to the Highlands ahead of the Champions League qualifiers would be an unwelcome distraction. Maybe an occasion for the youth and fringe players.

The oldco stopes lack the daft stars but still has ‘Tennents’ for some reason below the badge.
There’s no squad numbers, and no names on the back.
So this mob are still being referred to as Rangers,still sponsored by Tennents ad still wearing the same strip,playing at the same stadium,with most of the same first team players with a few new signings as well!

Same old, same old, yesterday.
Every team in the SPL should keep a record of the utterings from the ‘Fit & Proper’ chuck green yesterday for future reference.
They are now going to attempt to be vindictive against every other club in Scotland, but mainly to Celtic, they are desperate to maintain a link to us, we need to ignore them, they are a non-event, a hideous, archaic, organisation, they bring nothing good to football or society.
I have agreed with the silence from the Celtic board up till now but I think a statement should be forthcoming now, not to slap newco, but to praise all other SPL & SFL clubs that have indicated their support for integrity and fair play, also a tribute should be paid to the supporters who massively backed the clubs during the past few months.
A hugely positive statement on the future also needs to be made, the desire for a competitive league, the building of bridges with other clubs in Scotland to enhance chances of European progress for all, lets look at financially spreading the wealth from income streams, lets make the top league a financially viable, attractive, and progressive competition, lets make it for all the family to attend without fear.
Kill sectarianism, racisim, and bigotry stone dead by tightening the rules and appointing an independant group to report from every game, lets get the rules so black and white in the SPL that when newco re-appear they so much as break wind in the wrong direction they get hammered, the SFA won’t do this but the SPL can, Celtic are in a position to drive this forward. We need to stop looking inward and look outward.
Some ideas off the top of my head, give the supporters a chance to be involved in the running of the game instead of just fleecing them at every opportunity, launch a SPL newspaper once a week with an editiorial for each SPL team, supporters sections, previews, exclusives, each team to have equal footing and coverage, sell 100000 a week at a pound a pop and you start making £5.2 million a year without including any advertising income, knock on effect of killing the MSM even more. Create a club sponsored supporters league to run in parallel with the SPL, bring the supporters closer to the game.
I have a foot in two camps at the moment, one wants Celtic to just crush newco, the other wants to improve the Scottish game, grasp the opportunity, and move forward leaving the bottom feeders behind.

The hope is that the FTT tribunal judgement is so devastating in its detailed exposition of the huns wrongdoing that the SPL and the SFA have to be seen to do something, if only to try to salvage their own reputations.
Stripping of titles of oldco and an unequivocal statement that the newco huns are a new club would be about the best we could hope for.

I’ll defo not be ordering online again. Celtic shop in Derry closed aswel so can’t even send someone there and thn get it posted.
Looks like Celtic won’t be getting any my money for a while unless I’m at parkhead which sadly isn’t gonna be too often.
