The Celtic Supporters Association Rally in the Kerrydale Suite last night was a complete joy. On the way out I remarked that the club was in good hands with the Association. This was their 64th annual rally, over generations they have protected and cultured the unique spirit of our football club.
For me, it was the third opportunity in a week to hear the Thai Tims, who performed an excellent set. Paul Lennon of the Good Child Foundation is a real inspiration and example to us all.
It was also a great opportunity to spend a few hours with many from the CQN community, always a treat. I know one CQN’er who is going to think twice before digging up Tom (“get your facts right”) Boyd on the blog again, just in case our former treble winning captain reads it and goes looking for him on a night out.
To continue the spirit of what we are all about, on Saturday 19th May there is a charity dinner in Glasgow for The Andrea Kearney Fund, which supports women who are diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy. The fund in memory of Andrea, who was diagnosed while expecting her fifth child and died in 2008, aged 41.
It promises to be a great night for an important cause, I hope you can support it. You can book tickets here. I look forward to seeing you there.
You can buy a hard copy of the new issue of CQN Magazine via Magcloud here.
The graphic below is just for a flick through, to read the magazine go here to it’s dedicated site.

Kilbowie kelt,
So when you renewed your season ticket did you tick the box for old firm games ?
We are all, and I include myself, getting really anxious about the very real possibility of our football authorities putting commercials before integrity …. But we need to be careful to channel our justified anger in the right dirction, and that is nowhere near our Club …..
I have been a Celtic Supporter for 56 years and have witnessed innumerable attempts to break our spirit…… We have prevailed as a result of our togetherness and devotion to our culture / roots….
Now that their disgraceful history of appalling cheating, in collusion with the Football Establishment of this Country, we must be PATIENT, and allow each stage of this pantomime to take it’s course….. If and when they step out of line, we need to focus on taking action against the transgressors.
To date, we have thwarted their efforts to cover-up / spin, and they are realign …….. KEEP THE VIGIL GOING, AND KEEP THE FAITH
They’re on the way out, and we need to stick together to ensure they don’t slip through the net……… FOCUS ON THE IMPERATIVES

Do you not have a kango hammer
to make the cave more bigger ?

I’ve just found out that scottish football’s biased against Celtic, I’m not going to support Celtic any more!
I had an uncle who kept mountain goats, he got six months in jail.
HT
You think I am kidding, there are about 4 different goatmen who frequent our Rambla, only one I allow on to my wee bit spread, he is a good bloke, he keeps them away from the trees I have planted, the others don’t.
They do a good job keeping the weeds down, saves me much work.
Was just thinking……I will be delighted if Paddy McCourt stays with Celtic next season…!!!!!!!
Goats you say oh well that’s a new one on me bud.
Take care.

Defo mate , could not agree more . been up against it from the very begining , but a can look someone in the eye and say we won it fair and square , we won it the celtic way . hail hail
They are a hollow and shrivelled excuse for a sports club. Personally, it’d make mine’s shrivel following such a cheating, tarnished club. But the perception of winning has always seemed enough for them. It’s quite possibly what causes their violence and madness.

I do, but it’s easier to get the machine in, more expensive mind you, but it can dig out a room say 7 x 5 mts in 2 days, 40 euros an hour, would take me 2 months with the kango.
The cave is too big anyways, it’s 190 sq mts living space, we have 11 rooms, a bit much for me and the wife, tis full when the kids are here though.

I understand and can appreciate your point, but depending what happens we may all need to try and do things which are uncomfortable for us individually.
I believe each of us has a responsibility as a Celtic fan to ensure we protect our club for the next generation, there is the possibility of long term damage to our club with what is being proposed by the MSM, Miller, Killie & Doncaster. We may need to flex our financial might collectively to make our point.
There is a saying, I’m very familiar with, “half measures availed us nothing”, there may be the need for the Celtic family to act together, not in half measures.

I met a guy once who got 2yrs. for murdering a goat in Edinburgh zoo.
I think it was a date gone wrong.
This is a true story.

Ive got family (spanish side ) who have
a cave house , i stayed in it once , very weird accomodation,
i cant remember where it was but they live near
albacete ( a kaka y bete ) is that sort of near you ?
So Lawwell tells Celtic supporters the a foregone conclusion corrupt fc will be playing in the spl next season and people here still think it won’t happen, then drivel on about ffp, do you honestly think Lawwell has no asked Quinn what’s happening ?

Good post..
Graham Spiers þ @GrahamSpiers
Revealed in the Sunday Herald tomorrow: the SPL’s plan to ‘cut a deal’ with Bill Miller over a ‘newco’ Rangers…
If Brian Quinn is indeed on an influential uefa committe then that’s where you concentrate on
Not muppets like regan or doncaster
Get Mr Quinn to inform uefa that if they allow this to happen, it will have a domino effect across all European countries, big and small
It’s in uefa’s power to shut the barn door before the horse bolts

But by continuing to follow the club are we not preserving our heritage for future generations?
My anger, anxiety and disgust at this whole situation is not any less than any other Celtic supporter, I have just come to a point where I’ve decided that what happens in Kinning Park is not going to stop me supporting Celtic.
67 heaven,
great post

No that would be about 4 hours away in the car, must admit, didn’t know they had caves over that way.
I live in the Sierra Castril mountains, Castril itself which would be about 30 miles away is some village, google it, the statue of Our Lady on top of the mountain is something to behold.
ST, Lawwell has already told supporters they’re in next season, he’s confirmed it, again do you honestly think he’s no already asked Quinn ?
canamalar
Sorry for my ignorance but are you stating that PL has said that the huns or newco will be in the SPL next season?
Canamalar. Well uefa can pick up
The pieces
This will happen all over Europe now and is a cheats charter

I suppose it was not bad year in your life. I would like to wish even better years.
Happy Birthday
Many Happy returns and more time with family.
ht,
Did you no read James Forrest today ?
Am away to ma kip knowing that I can sleep well.
Safe in the knowledge that I can celebrate Celtic victories without thinking if we cheated to win them.
Safe in the knowledge that we I can celebrate Celtic winning trophies without thinking if we cheated to win them.
R@nkers fans can now no longer do this for the rest of heir lives.
What a great time to be a Tim:)
Sydneytim
Spot on. The Scottish football authorities are not fit for purpose in dealing with this, the biggest scandal in the history of the game .Bring in EUFA. We might be alone in Scotland, but we must reach beyond the borders of this corrupt place.
ST,
Agreed, but that doesn’t help us.
Delete ‘heir’ and replace with ‘their’ apologies.

I will find out exactly where it is
for the next time we are on together
Look theirs that goat again !

On the off-chance I can end further discussion on the various scenarios being put forward regarding our club’s response, let me say this:
I’ve spoke to some people who were at the rally last night and took the chance to ask Lawwell one on one where we are.
Our club has already accepted Rangers SPL status as inevitable.
No legal avenues are being explored. No resignation options are being considered.
We have admitted defeat and are now hopelessly scrambling to make sure “proper” sanction are imposed.
I’m done with it. No season ticket next season or again.
