CELTIC new Bhoy Olivier Ntcham insists he is not worried by the £4.5million fee the treble-winners have paid to Manchester City.
The French Under-21 midfielder reckons he will more than justify that financial outlay during his four-year deal.
Ntcham is the Hoops’ most expensive purchase since Scott Brown joined in a £4million move from Hibs in 2007.
But the 21-year-old powerhouse is adamant he doesn’t feel he has to prove anything. He said: ““No, the money does not put pressure on me.
“For me, it makes me happy because the club is showing a lot of faith in me.
“When you buy a player, you buy him because he can do big things on the pitch. I hope this is what I can show for Celtic.
“The money is not a problem. It is a challenge and I am looking forward to it. It is a very exciting challenge to join a club who were unbeatable last season.
“I hope we can do it again.”
Ntcahm spent the last two seasons on loan at Serie A side Genoa.
