Improper Registration charge for corrupting 700 games still to hit

1256

At some point today those who believed Rangers have, or should have, impunity from the law of the land, as well as the rules and regulations of Scottish football, will awaken to the realisation that this is not the case.

Soon thereafter another thought will arrive: what about the impending Improper Registration of Players charge?

Over a decade of subverting every competition they have played in.  Denying clubs who register players correctly the right to compete on a level playing field.  Grabbing prize money and the abundant financial rewards of Champions League football rightly due to others – more on this later in the week.

This charge brings every domestic and European competition they played in into disrepute and is several times the magnitude than that which Rangers were punished for yesterday.  Then consider bringing the game into disrepute by chasing football bling instead of paying taxes, a separate issue from player registration.

The toxicity of these charges is enormous and if upheld will bring punishments appropriate for corrupting over 700 football games.  A whole raft of disciplinary procedures has still to take place.  If the misdemeanours of the Craig Whyte era have caused distress, those of the old board, including Ogilvie, Johnston and the Murray twins, will soon establish Rangers current owner as a mere footnote in the club’s demise.

Show of hands, who sat on the board that spent £4m on Jelavic two years after the HMRC investigation into EBTs started?

  1. DBBIA call me biased if you like but I think they are more suited to The Underworld.

The underworld is hidden in the earth’s bowels. It is the kingdom of the morally crooked and ruled over by Hunhades. Hunhades is a greedy god who is greatly concerned with increasing his subjects. Those whose calling increase the number of morally crooked are seen favorably. The Billyites are welcomed guests. He is exceedingly disinclined to allow any of his subjects leave and the Billyites with malice soon rise to honouree Regimental Slugs.

For most, life in the underworld is not particularly unpleasent. It is rather like a miserable dream, full of shadows, without sunlight or hope; A joyless place where the morally crooked hone their traits to nothingness.

Geographically, the underworld is surrounded by a series of rivers: The Acheron (river of woe), The Cocytus (river of lamentation), The Phlegethon (river of fire), The Styx (river of unbreakable oath by which the gods swear), and The Lethe (river of forgetfulness). Once across the rivers an adamantine gate, guarded by Big Billy, forms the entrance to the dungeon. Deep withen the dungeon is Hunhades’s vast slum, populated with many writing rats, maggots and orcs.

Upon complete decay of a quintessential, a blackened soul is lead by Hunhermes to the entrance of the underworld and the ferry across the Acheron. There is a single ferry run by Charon to take the souls across the river. Only those who can pay the fare, with coins placed on their lips when buried, receive passage. One pound is the one way fare. Those with no fare are subject to perpetual ridicule by the Celts. The blackened souls then enter through the gates. Big Billy will allow all to enter but, none to leave. The blackened souls then appear before a panel of three judges, Rhadamanthus, Minos, and Aeacus, who pass sentence. The very good go to the Elysian Fields. Others are singled out for special treatment. Sisyphus and Syphillius being prime examples of the later.

Syphillius Lega III might be a comfortable environment for the huns to begin their two thousand years. Two thousand long, long years. Two thousand years without Champions League. Two thousand long, long years contrition.

  2. Has anyone asked Coisty, being the great and important manager that he is, if he will stay with the club when/if it enters Div. 3?

Mackay-Steven & Russell are the only 2 SPL players we should even be considering. Dixon is a decent left back but we have Izzy, Mulgrew, Blackman and Ledley that can play there.

  6. McCoist’s comments re. 3rd division is him looking after his CV. Its his only chance of success next season

  7. Cheers navanbhoy

I’m seriously pissed off with these idiots claiming its everybody else’s fault .

Where was their sympathy or understanding when they helped kill Airdrie , two faced ars******.

They have got used to been treated as the establishment club , so when the same rules that apply to the rest of us are applied to them , they can’t accept it — TOUGH .

Welcome to the level playing field .

  8. The hysterical over reaction to what was in fact a fairly light sanction considering had the rules been properly applied the orcs could have been put out of the league shows us exactly how it will go in the next few weeks should the Puppet Twins, Regan and Doncaster actually do their jobs properly.

The Huns always react the same to any semblance of fairness, bullying tactics, threats and greeting like big weans, they have no class and even less dignity and the fact that the bigot and racist Dungwall is their mouthpiece says more about our country than the huns themselves.

This clown is given airtime every night to put the case of the poor wee huns and just because Leckie decided to jump ship and rewrite history does make him any less of a toad than he has always been.

Beware of huns bearing gifts, the bile in their hearts is there still for those who have eyes to see.

So take your Leckie’s, your Spiersy’s, your Jabba’s and your King’s and stick them where the sun don’t shine, Fat Sally bahooky should fit that description perfectly.

    Stupid Stupid huns…….

  10. If ever there was a case for our loaning out 5 or 6 good young players to division 3 clubs then it is now !!!!

Keep them down there roasting for as long as possible……

Peterhead, Elgin City, Albion Rovers etc would welcome a few of our squad members on a mission I am sure….

  11. I had the dubious pleasure of listening to fat Jabba yesterday on Radio Scotland. He was bleeting about the poor wee Rangers fans not being held responsible for the actions of Whyte as the SFA didn’t do anything at the time regarding fit and proper person. Coming from the Sports Editor of the newspaper who gave us such gems as “Billionaire with wealth off the radar” and “£50m warchest”. This is the newspaper who admitted, in print, that they took these statements verbatim from Whyte’s PR and printed them with no due dilligence of their own. The man is a slug. The notions of Corporate Responsibility were just dismissed, as were the fairness of Rangers gaining league points using players they not only couldn’t afford but had no intention of paying for. The role of the board of directors also dismissed, it was all big bad Whyte. Remember Jabba’s stance on this when the excrement starts falling on Sir David.

Craig Whyte has came in blown the doors off this whole cabal. The putrid little goblins are now visible with the naked eye and they don’t like it. From fat Jabba, to the wee cheeky chappy yesterday letting his mask slip just enough for us to see his real insidious nature.

These are literally the death throes, a man called Hector is on his way with a stake to end our fun.

  12. Got an e-mail this morning from Aer Lingus titled -Just pay taxes & charges. Paul are you doing the copyrighting for them?

  13. Mark Hately has a point but I think he might have overlooked the obvious in as much as all the huns under 18 galactic signings will be 2018 years old by the time they get back to the SPL.

Jabba and Jacko and Spiersy and Darrel and Tom won’t be around to protect them then.

He’s not sipping the soup. He’s doing what all proper journalists should do, and reporting as objectively as he can.

Do you not think that occasionally we get Celtic stories in the msm that have been spun to put eg Peter Lawwell in as positive a light as possible? There are certianly plenty on here that do. That Rangers fans think the press are biased in out favour also tells you there’s an element of truth in it. Unfortunately our sports journos think their job isn’t to report the sports news, but to wind up fans and create chatter and sales. Lots of them are ery good at that job.

He’s also correct in saying that a Rangers in some form will survive. Even with a totally decimated support they’d still be the second biggest supported team in Scotland, and somebody will always want to try and exploit that level of fanbase commercially.

He’s not without his faults of course, but he’s still the hghest profile journalist that’s been on this story properly. Others like Mark Daly hevae been good on aspects of it but AT is the main one looking at the whole picture.

That fat sweat hog McCoist is playing a very dangerous game.Seriously…the very language that he is using, and the tone of it is dsturbing.Blood, kicking, fighting…all fire and brimstone tripe, but provocative none-the-less.Der hun is already in an agitated state, the rage & anger is stronger than it ever has been,he seems to be trying to send them into a total frenzy.

There is always that threat of violence in everything they say or do – the old bullying & intimidation tactics, the lynch mob mentality.

I have no doubt that the dark and bitter Masonic in the backround are instructing him in what to say.

  18. Why is Supper Ally so keen for the members of the SFA’s Judicial Panel to be identified?

Is it so Ra Peepul know who to target with letter bombs?

There is only one Dundee Utd player I would be interested in signing and that’s Jon Daly. He would score a barrowload of goals from Charlie Mulgrew’s crosses alone. I would further suggest if he had been our striker in the Scottish Cup semi we would now be looking forward to a Cup final.

We need a big centre who is not only good in the air but on the ground. Jon Daly fits the bill imo.

  23. I’m not sure that McCoist’s record would tempt a significant club to take a chance on him.

He might actually relish the martyrdom of going down with his ship and struggling heroically in the murky depths of Division 3.

He’d probably see some sort of nobility in it.

Why did he not just ask the RFC(IA) representative at the hearing? They were represented over the days that it sat so they know who was there.

Is it that Ally is no longer being ‘consulted/involved’ every steps of the way as was mentioned at the start of this sorry mess.

  25. Bhoys on entering the office this morning you could feel the atmosphere had changed.

    They are really hurting.

    They feel persecuted.

They feel that they have been unfairly treated and penalised.

They feel that the SFA are out to get them.

They seem to think the press are all against them.

I said the first thing that comes to mind.

Multiply what you have felt by over 100 years and you will have an idea of what it is like to be a Celtic supporter in Scotland.

They have no idea what else is round the corner and Celtic and other SPL clubs could yet take them to court for many years of financial doping.

They have this thought that they will just get away with this. They will be in the SPL and they will be able to buy £1m players. The penny is dropping day by day that they won’t and they are now getting angry. It’s not anger against us (for once). The anger is at themselves. They won’t admit it but you can tell from their individual reactions that it’s the type of anger you have when you have been conned. When you have been stupid. Duped if that it the word.

They are organising some kind of rally at the weekend I believe. Alas it’s all too late.

They have had a few years of internet bampotery telling them what was going to happen and they did nothing.

There has been warning signs since the big tax case came to light and they have done nothing.

They have been in administration for over 70 days and they have done nothing.

They have had the MSM even telling them the game is almost up and they have done nothing.

The SFA give them a platry £160k fine and ban them from signing players and they go bonkers.

Why? The reason is obvious. They see the SFA as an organisation they can manipulate and use to their own means.

    The SFA don’t punish Rangers!

Rangers play the SFA and have done for years. Their players pull out of internationals with mystery illnesses and injuries and heal with in hours of their next match.

They can take the Scotland football manager and get no fine or punishment because it is Rangers right to do so!

    Is it not?

This is the first time they have realised that the allies they have had in the past are not going to give them a hand up this time. They are in such a mess that no changing of rules or bank handed favours will help them.

Only now the penny is beginning to drop and it’s all too late. What we have witnessed is what I always suspected. As a support they are nowhere near as passionate or united as we are.

They are doomed to liquidation and they were too slow, stupid, arrogant and misguided to make any effort to do anything about it.

I will not miss them but I will tell the youngsters of the future what it was like to have to play them and deal with them. They will not believe it!
