CELTIC dodged a potential Scottish Cup banana skin against League One part-timers Airdrie as they made progress in the national competition with a 3-0 victory at Parkhead at the weekend.

Goals from Scott Sinclair (2) and new Bhoy Timothy Weah took the holders, looking for a historic hat-trick of triumphs in the tournament, into the last-16 where they will play St Johnstone in the east end of Glasgow next month.

CQN‘s snappers supreme were on hand to capture the action as Brendan Rodgers’ men remained on course for an unprecedented treble treble.
