Before the weekend I argued against the early return of Cameron Carter-Vickers against Motherwell on Sunday. Cameron’s injured hamstring has hampered the player throughout the season and the best remediation for a hamstring is rest. Returning to action before it is absolutely necessary is a risk.
My thoughts on when “absolutely necessary” is has moved since. One central defender will not change the way the team plays, he will not stop a cross coming into the box or be at the back post to stop a header, but Celtic are in desperate need of incremental gains. As well as performing traditional defensive duties very well, he is comfortable in possession and can help transition the ball forward.
He would also be a confidence boost to players and fans alike. Let’s hope we see him on Sunday.

Two weeks it’s took them to throw the Russians out of all competition.
Doesn’t suit the narrative to throw the genociders out.

Listen carefully. This not about Res12 which was about SFA reform.
That ended when Celtic took over responsibility for it at 2021 AGM then reimbursed legal costs in recognition that what Res12 uncovered was useful in developing FSR.
So it’s done.
What I’m on about is shareholders were lied to by the very guy most if not all everyone would like to leave the building and if that behaviour can be tested against Company Law then its worth exploring.

I think it was PL as result of being involved in the decision to adjourn the Resolution that took place over two days.
However let’s say An Tearman is right.
That is DD deliberately set out to thwart a perfectly justified resolution from small shareholders with locus ie a right under Company Law to make a case.
Did DD comply with Company Law guidance on treatment of small shareholders and did that decision result in his CEO having to lie to the same shareholders as a result and is that legally acceptable?

That needs to be tested by presenting the evidence to an expert in Company Law.
That will cost money but the very act of a challenges of a legal challenge will produce 2 outcomes.
1. DD/PL did comply in which case there is little point in having an AGM.
