    It’s great to be back on the blog.

     

     

    As Tiny Tim posted last night, I got home from hospital yesterday (Friday) late afternoon. I wasn’t up to posting yesterday as all I could think of was a good night’s sleep in my own bed. I was in bed by 7:30pm and did not wake until 8am.

     

     

    I am still nowhere near 100% but heading in that direction.

     

     

    I’d like to thank everyone for their kind words last weekend when Paul passed on my news. Those comments really gave me a lift and were much appreciated.

     

     

    CQN really is one big family and I am truly proud to be part of it.

     

     

    Thanks again one and all.

    I read your comment last week, or at least my wife read it out to me. I have read it myself since.

     

     

    I hope my other well-wishers will not mind if I pass on an individual thank you to you. Yes, we have had our differences, although the latest one was a complete mystery to me. But putting all that aside, your comments really meant a helluva lot to me and were the mark of a big man. We will never be bosom buddies of course, but life’s too short and I just wanted to thank you for your gesture.

    So now I join my fellow CQNers and look forward to the game.

    I would have only played 1 upfront – Stokes, played Sammi in mid, and left hoops on the bench. Wilson wouldn’t be in my squad and big Dan would have been my choice but in Lenny we trust. We need to be strong if they start to get tasty then boot da sh*te oot oh them bhoys.

    It is incredible how that former Huns manager escapes without criticism for the mess they are in. This is a guy who squandered untold millions during his failed attempt to win ten-in-a-row.

     

     

    He then returns to a club in financial pearl and spends almost £40m. Responsible stuff right enough.

     

     

    Thats why to us he’s the myth.

     

    I love calling him the myth infront of huns, the look on their faces is priceless.

     

    When i then explain why his reputation is a myth the look of acceptance is even better!!

     

     

    Difficult game today and i cant call it, for some reason we rarely do ourselves proud up there.Today i’d take any sort of result at all.

    Mate we go back a while, we’ve played our games and I am more than ready to end them. I mean no harm to you, or anybody else, and you know that, in your heart of hearts you know that. We can draw a line under the past and look forward to happy days, together. That would be my prefered wish. I’m glad you are okay; you really can be a pain, but, bottom line, you are a Celtic Supporter, there can never be enough Celtic Supporters.

    ICT have beaten Rangers the same number of times they’ve beaten us. That’s just THREE times. So why are they OUR bogey team?

     

     

    Sky Sports 3 going overboard about them beating us TWELVE years ago. Don’t think I can bear another 15 minutes of this before kick-off.
