Joint Response Group holding statement

Scottish football’s Joint Response Group’s comments yesterday were little more than a holding statement.  Daily testing will move the dial little from every second day.  It was a demonstration to show they are still active and capable of responding, should the occasion arise.  My main concern this last week has been that the League Cup Final goes ahead with fans tomorrow.  Unlike earlier periods, any escalation this time looks like fixtures will be postponed, instead of games played behind closed doors.  As a season ticket holding fan, that would be my preference.

Let’s hope protocols hold up between now and the winter break, when everyone in the game can rest for a period.

    One foot in Qatar who’d have thunk Tom Rogic would have a starring role today as the main man at Bertie Auld’s ‘training ground’. The Aussie is the key player no longer super sub, but fully fledged bridegroom and the flair player who could bring another trophy to silverware Celtic.
