    Was giving my Mrs &a daughter a wee history lesson today back in the late 80s I got my “designer gear” fae Dees kickers & pringles with Provi cheques, back then Dees & Golbergs took the Provi cheques, others can make fun but I now appreciate my mother who was a school cleaner more or less paid more for my gear…. it was the guy in the shop who told me it was going for 42yrs…. by the way it was a great wee take for MissGFTB, as I know I probably appreciate it more now than then ….. older but maybe a wee tiny bit wiser, even I couldn’t get less wiser surely :-)

    That reasoning why the SPL had to deal with the Rangers wrong doing is quite an unbelievable.

     

     

    Why reinvent the wheel!?

     

     

    The SFA Judicial Panel could have dealt with ALL aspects of Rangers wrong doing. In fact…

     

     

    “The Scottish FA is responsible for administering disciplinary procedures for its member clubs.”

     

     

    Everything required was already in the SFA Judicial Panel’s Potocol & Processes.

     

     

    It can (and was duty bound to my way of thinking) set up a Tribunal to deal with any & all Rangers breaches.

     

     

    And of course, in the case of an Appeal this would be dealt with by an Appellant Tribunal. Quite normally.

     

     

    So the – Appellant Excuse – is a patent nonsense.

     

     

    The Protocols, Processes and Procedures were already in place. Why the change? Why set up a different and unique process to deal with Rangers?

     

     

    Still I guess there maybe some silver lining. As the pressure you and the ghuys are bringing to bear are exposing lies, double-talk and serious omissions. There is no reason why due process could eventually take place.

     

     

    Maybe after a clearout, review and restructuring of the SFA as you suggested the other day.

     

     

    OR

     

     

    Maybe when they’re forced to after a Judicial Review:)

    This must be about the worst Barca team for quite some time, we have a very decent chance on Wednesday if we set up right, imo the only way we can get a result is to go at them, it’s how teams have taken points off them so far this year, sit off them they will pick you off, they are masters at that, go at them they are dodgy.

     

    Brendan didn’t set the team up right in the first game against them, when we did go at them we got rewarded, albeit we missed the pen but we scared them when we attacked them, we are a much better team than the one that was humped over there and imo they are worse.

     

    I wouldn’t like to be going into the game with Cifci as our striker mind you, I hope that Moussa or the Griff are fit.

    Been thinking about Wednesday and also thinking back to November2012 and THAT 2-1 victory.

     

     

    Overall, I think that we are a better team than we were 4 years ago. And, overall, I think that they’re not quite as good as they were then.

     

     

    Therefore………………………. we must have at least a chance of getting something!

     

     

    To be honest, when the draw was made I was worried that come our 3rd home game we’d have had nothing to play for. But, hey – forget the Europa, we’re not even out of the Champions League yet!!

     

     

    Here’s how we do it!

     

     

    Current points – Barca 9, Man City 7, Borrusia 4, Celtic 2.

     

    We win our last 2 games, Borussia beat Man City this week but lose to Barca in their last game.

     

    Final points – Barca 12, Celtic 8, Man City 7, Borussia 7

     

     

    Simples!

    ACGR – aye, the ole EK boys done good. In the ole Lowland League it’s a 30 game season. And with 15 games played EK sit on 42 points with Spartans in 2nd on (just) 29. Looking good for a 2016/17 season in Div 2 with trips to the wonderlands of Monrose, Arbroath and Elgin (Forfar are going up to Div 1)

    Nearly every post match interview BR goes on about the fans, who yet again were magic in Friday night, and I am sure even more magical when Barca come calling…… where their is hope there is Celtic !

     

     

    I just want 3rd place and a wee jaunt to Stockholm :-)

    Jobo Was that 4 years ago ? It feels like a lifetime. It was one those never to be forgotten moments when the ball somehow landed at Watt and he did what every good striker does and goes for goal, the Celtic end rose as one in anticipation as he hits it perfectly into the net. Without doubt one of the greatest gosls in our illustrious history.
