I concur. I think we are capable of taking something from both games in the ECL.

Try the bread section in your Asda store for “Irish Batch loaf” there is only about 5 or 6 slices in it but it’s lovely, you can also get soda bread and whole grain brown bread made by Paul Rankin I think it is. Also on the food issues the Tesco at Parkhead used to stock a euro foods aisle which had tayto crisps and cadburys caramello, mint crisp, tiffin etc etc along with packets of knorr chic soup flahavans porridge, Kimberley, mikado and coconut creams.( older culchies will remember that advert). Christ I’m hungry now after typing that time for a toasted Brady’s ham and cheese on Brennan’s batch, does anyone know if pat the baker is still going as his batch was lovely too.

  7. Nas na Ri

Good shout – I have seen Asda stock Irwin’s Irish Batch before, but sadly not in Bury St Edmunds.

Tesco here has an American section (nearby USAF bases) but no Scottish section! Shocking…

you need to lay of the speed mate or get some good ching ;-)

You’ve got your work cut out parodying that lot nowadays. Congrats for still hitting the funny bone!

Home-made hooch? You’ll go blind. Give it to ACGR,he’ll throw it in a sherry cask for a decade and polish it up a bit. Or off…

  10. There is only one batch loaf worthy of the name, I give you Irwin’s Nutty Krust.

So good I even forgave them their support for the Drumcree protesters. That shows how good it is alone. :-)

    It’s a heel. And it’s roasted cheese.

Stick to what you know, bud. Sausages,I bow to your superior knowledge…

I was one of them; all I can say is that I’m glad I don’t live in your negative wee world!

    Celtic 3 Barca 2

  13. Halliday rantings ..WOW !

Is it any wonder their support is so delusional, with the bile spewed out by Halliday ?

There were several startling statements in there, and some gave been addressed already on here however, Halliday ( who obviously needs a wee holiday ) spouts about their support inspiring themi in the last 15 minutes v dundee ?

The ipox midden was half empty during that spell , cos their so called ” loyal” fans had buggered off !

At the time of their ” work class ” ????????? Goal the place was only about 25% full.

The ramblings of this latest idiot with his only talent being the ability to twist facts, reminds mostly of when Wattie & Fattiewere in charge, and their interviews immediately after an oldco victory against Celtic .

Live in front of a TV camera, either one of those two would be ranting how well the had played etc, but then would always comment how fantastic their fans had been and they had never stopped singing throughout the 90 minutes in support of their team ?

Occasionally the TV interviewer would ask, ” Wattie/Tattie ? What about the sectrerian singing from the rankers fans” ?

It wouldn’t matter a not which one if those two were being interviewed, as the response would always be, ” I never heard anything like that” ?

I know it was too much to expect , but I would be sitting there waiting and hoping that just once, an interviewer would immediately remind them that they had just praised the rankers support for singing for 90 minutes, and therefore how either of them could say that one minute, and then claim they never heard any of the blood songs and chants ?

Two of the worst lying duds I’ve ever had the misfortune to hear.

    Me no like them.

As for Halliday, as suggested earlier his mental state really does require attention asap !

  14. Big Pierre's 2 front teeth on

You staying at home then on Wednesday since you think we have no chance of taking anything?!?

I should just ignore like I usually do as most of what you write is p#sh anyway

  15. 24 degrees here at the moment.Phenomenal weather.Just looking at some people in swimming in the sea.Dont know about that. The Devil Dug is giving me the evil eye as the Gout has stopped me from taking her,her walks on the beach.Mrs TB has offered but she totally ignores her.Just keeps staring at me.With her size, its unnerving.Thinking about Bread.Does anyone remember The Ascot Vans that used to come around the schemes.Best bread ever. The “Ootsiders”were about an inch thick.Wallop the cheese on,under the toaster. The bread, nice thick Butter and Gammon.Mouth watering thinking about it.Nice weather, but some things you just miss.

Aye, it’s a natural progression – I already have to make my own square sausage, may as well make my own tattie scones.

Ratio of 500g plain flour to 100g mashed spuds. A ACGRknob of butter, salt and pepper to season. Roll to about 5mm thick and cut (use a wee plate to shape and you can then cut into 4). Fry in a really hot pan and enjoy!

Seems the Royal Navy has fewer than 20 capital ships nowadays, mainly aging destroyers and frigates.

Must be great being a hun at this time of year. 54 titles,Britannia Rules the Waves, and Santa due down the chimney any time soon.

  18. 67Heaven .. CHALLENGING THE LIE ..I am wee Oscar...... Ipox belongs to the creditors on

Have sevco paid the £100k toilet bill yet ?… if not, are we going to refuse tickets for the ipox game, or withhold the £100k from the ticket money ?…. and are our Board going to allow the safety of our supporters to be compromised at sevco”s unsafe midden….?
