Murray reigns supreme in the tennis world. Don’t know a lot about the game but so far it’s fairly unanimous that Andy is a very worthy world number one.
Such dedication and talent in this country should be recognised, which it will be, but hopefully will serve as a motivation to other young people in this country as to what can be achieved.

I’ve liked WHU since as far as I can remember, why? not because of any relation to the Catholic Church which is something that only surfaced on their leaving Upton Park as we always called it, probably because they seemed tae “play football the Glasgow Celtic way”.
They are also an East End working class club unlike pretentious chelski, the royal arse or their neighbours who were named after a Shakespearian character.
They produced some cracking players during my young lifetime including Budgie Byrne, Noel Cantwell and Phil Woosman and were the 2nd UK side tae win a European trophy and rightly boast having 3 WC winning players in their side, 1 was captain and the other 2 goalscorers with 1 of them being the only player to have scored a hatrick in the final, even the great manure had only 2 and both Liverpool and Leeds 1 each.
And who among us will ever forget Bobby Moore’s testimonial when chose Celtic as the opposition.

Only found out on Friday wee blade off tomorrow thankfully we live close to all the family so her big sister is on duty the morra, am off next Monday as soon as we got into the semi final (before the draw) I put in for the Monday’s off after the semi & final, only plan ahead when it comes to Celtic :-)

If what you are asking (and I am assuming here, so apologies if I am wrong): did they give specific answers to specific questions, then the answer is no. However, my impression is that the “underlying message” is they are seriously looking at all the info produced by the Res 12 team and are keeping their powder dry until they can really move on it; and that will, IMHO, include a definitive statement on the “same club” issue.
The biggest tragedy of this whole affair would, I feel, be if the Board moved to early without the full and correct information in place and didn’t achieve the complete justice that we are all looking for! Although, on the face of it, it seems a cut and dried case there are probably many intricacies and legal elements of the information and evidence that we are not aware of, or fully understand.
These are, of course, just my opinions and I will stand corrected by Auldheid, Canamalar and BRTH if they tell me I’m wrong. It’s taken 3 years to get to this stage so I’m sure a few more weeks/months will be acceptable to get the right result!
Hat’s off to the Res12 guys who have gotten us this far!

My cap is indeed doffed to the 4 Resolutioners and their persistence. My own opinion is that Celtic will say nothing about them being a new club. I do believe that they believe they’re a new club but nothing will be said.

As HT mentioned above, I don’t think John-Paul or the club answered a single question with a straight answer.
Now I understand res.12 is ongoing and the club want to consider their position , but what is so hard , for the love of God, about confirming the status of the new club.
It is a fact , they are a new club.
I never ever considered Celtic to be anything other than a stand alone club.
Why is that even relevant ?
I just wish Celtic would grow a set and say it as it is.

Nope. One of my big regrets in life, I had two programmes from the match, my ticket, and a Banner with all the players photo’s glued to the banner,The intention was to bring them back with me, I only remember where the banner went, A few supporters from Portugal seemed to like the banner and kept asking me if they could get the banner, I kept refusing but when the bhoys went one down, I turned round to them and said if Celtic win they could have the banner, I’m glad to say they got the banner from me, I sometimes wonder if it’s alive some where in Lisbon. I may catch a glimpse of it if it turns up 50 years on. wishful thinking i would say.

As far as the “same club” issue goes
ifwhen Celtic make a statement on it all hell will break loose. IMHO the Res12 issue is, by far, the more important of the two and saying anything about The Rangers being a new club at this time would deflect from that.My hope and belief is that both issues will be successfully dealt with in the not too distant future.

It would be far more time consuming, and JP will murder me for the suggestion, but I think it might be a better idea to post responses to each question. That way CQNers can determine for themselves without having to interpret your’s and Jim’s feedback.

It is the intention, moving forward, to get more precise answers to specific questions and this might take a few attempts to get right.
The reality is that it was always going to be very difficult to get definitive answers to the questions this week. Far better minds than me have been working on this for 3 years and more and they are still waiting!
It is a progressive move and I think it will work really well as we move forward.

Looking for some advice on behalf of a friend.
Has anyone heard anything about plans to stop the tax free lump sum pension payments due to NHS staff ( not the 2015 plan currently running but the one recently closed)
My friend was due to have a lumo sum at 60 then a pension amount paid per annum until death ( index linked)
Hearing rumours that there is a plan to stop the lump sum ( not sure if that would then be added to the annual pension and paid over the reamining lifetime)
It seems unlikely, but a few hard working folk are getting nervous with all the negative shite!
