I know a few Bhoy’s from Cruix, went to School with them, I’m 54.

One of my Sisters lives in Plains, Whiterigg, married a Plains Bhoy.

    Keep the Faith!

    Hail Hail!

If you are reading the companies act I presume mrs bgfc small business is a Ltd co.

Seems overly complicated for such a small biz.

If you have other reasons for incorporation fine, but I would seriously question whether this was necessary.

If it is maintained as a sole trader you could easily do the necessary tax return requirements yourself, at probably zero cost.

As an incorporated business you have to deal with the legislation and £600 is pretty reasonable cost imo for an established car practice to charge.

Recommend you go to a sole trader status with decent public liability insurance.

Hope this helps and your daughter does well today.

  3. BADA,

Know what you mean but I will be delighted if Messi misses out this time. His scoring record against us is very good.

That’s no longer the case, a corner can be taken by the ball being kicked and staying within the arc.

    Page 10 of http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/afdeveloping/refereeing/law_17_the_corner_kick_en_47358.pdf

    ——————

    Cheers for the update.

Though it does mean that a corner is only deemed to have been taken when the ref says so. How would a short corner work now, can you just roll the ball an inch and it’s live? Remember the Man U short corner a few years back but the goal was ruled out as the linesman didn’t believe the kick had been taken (though the ball had clearly been rolled out of the arc).

  5. TOMMIE 10.30.

Whether Cruix means Caldercruix or not , the answer Tommie is no. I’m a Glasgow bhoy.

Am I a high plains drifter ? In a way I suppose, as I have drifted in and oot of women’s boudiours many a time !

If I was a cowboy Id probably be a careless cowboy ( forgetting where I parked ma horse ?,), just like am a Careless Catholic, cos I keep forgetting to marry only Tim Ghirls .

Cheers for quotes about the ARC.

Although does that mean Noah only came alive when he left the ……

As for blowing bubbles, and the Brits whistling it etc nothing would surprise me ?

    HH

  6. BADA, that video made me laugh. That guy has Brendan and Gerrard down to a T.

Back to the ARC, I suppose if you rolled the ball within the ARC,and the ball travelled it’s full circumference, and still stayed within the ARC, then that would be legal and legally the ball is in play ?

The only advantage that I could see to doing that is when time wasting ?

    HH

  7. Regarding the ARC at the corner flag. It is a 1 yard radius from the corner flag. The rule states the ball must be placed “inside the arc”.

However, given the definition that the “whole ball” must cross the line for a goal and applying that to the taking of corners, I offer the following interpretation.

The ball does not have to be “inside the arc”. Nor does the ball have to touch the line.

The ball can be resting outside the line due the the fact it is a sphere thus when you look down on the ball, some part of it can still be crossing the line.

It drives fans mad. And assistant refs will often tell the player to move it onto the line. Wrongly IMO.

  8. Big Jimmy.

The circumference of the ball is defined as 27-28 ins. It would be nigh on practically impossible, though technically possible, for the ball to travel it’s circumference and remain in the arc.

However, recent rule changes – last few years – have seen the wording “travel full circumference” replaced by “ball moving”. Hence we’ve seen occasions where a player will put the ball in the arc, tap it lightly and walk away, pretending that someone else will take the corner when in fact it has already been taken. Usually done on the assistan referees side and with advance notice given to said assistant.

a new pet hate of mines is the corner kicker placing the ball at the very edge of the arc, its just daft, nae advanatage at all.

    Boys,

    Stop kidding yourselves.

You are not getting any advancement in this CL farce of a tournament.

The Cup Final next week is by far our biggest focus this season.

    ——————————-

Totally disagree ( we were debating that exact point in the pub on Friday ).

Nobody will remember a league cup win in a few years time. But we all remember beating Barca. Ask yourself:- what was NFL’s most defining game ?

The CL is where legends are made, not a league cup.

But I take your point and many, if not most agreed with you.

The huns will do well to get six points from their next two matches. At the risk of jinxing it-and bearing in mind their low strike rate-these are money-making opportunities.

Just to be on the safe side,I won’t jinx it by putting money on. I rarely touch games involving them. Or us.

  16. So the reasons for the constant gardeners ( In perpetuity ) Mug being in the media all last week is down to him putting himself forward as a candidate or the Queens Park Rangers gig not only that but the weedkiller also fancies himeself as manager of the New York Yankee’s

All utter nonsense of course but extremely funny

All very true. But beating Barca isn’t on our Roll of Honour. All our cup final wins are.

Anyway,I want us to win both. No argument there.

  18. AN TEARMANN doing fine thanks, down for the Barca game and Cup Final, going to Cafe Andaluz prematch – last we went there we won 2-1!!! Will try and pop in to the BV so may see you. Hail Hail Hebcelt

Thanks very much for the responses and advice folks. I’ll have a good read through these today.

When setting up, we did consider the Sole Trader route but, as MING alluded to, felt it best to separate potential exposure from our main livelihoods (we both work full time in the NHS).

Anyway – thanks again guys – off to do some further reading, and will likely have a chat with SE.

  20. I want us to beat Aberdeen to add to the clubs titles, to give us a chance of a treble,to make the players winners, to damage the myth that McInness is a good manager, however Barcelona is a different ball game and with Pique back he holds them together, a very tough ask.

My wife had a cake making business for a few years and we opted for Ltd status for that very reason – Acct fees were around the £600 mark

    Cheers Mate.

However 2002/3 was arguably the best and most enjoyable season I have witnessed. What did we win though?

  24. My friends in Celtic,

Love the Warburtons advert with the Muppets.

Waiting for the facing book and twitter thingy to repond appropriately.

Ps : BEATBHOY, sorry we didn’t win the league 2002/3.

  25. Had to readjust my goals for this year, as BR did. A much better job from the word go. Even with increased expectations, Getting us into the CL was way beyond what I expected for this year. And it has shown we still have a lot to learn. Take the money, learn some lessons and be ready next season to Make a real run.

But, domestically? The league is over…so we can focus on the few cup games. No slip ups! I want… no, expect … a treble!

  26. Greenpinata

    Yes, we did.

And that’s me only penalising Rangers (1872-2012) 3 points for one improperly registered player in one game in that season, just as the SPFL punished Dundee United last season.

My records are just as valid as the official ones!

You know, the ones which have a 4 year-old club down as being founded in 1872, and having won over 100 honours, including 54 top tier titles, despite this being the first season they’ve ever played in the top division of Scottish Football.

    Works for 2005 as well!

  27. An Tearmann.

    John is doing well.

Luke wasn’t an automatic start at Alloa, so Celtic pulled the plug and brought him back early.

He was playing against Norwich in the week. For some reason Celtic played some u/20s. Norwich played u23s.

    Hail Hail.
