LEGENDARY former Celtic boss Martin O’Neill will lead the silverware parade on the Celtic Way this morning.

As the champions prepare for a carnival atmosphere before the 12.30pm kick-off against Aberdeen, the Northern Irishman will be on hand  to accept the silverware when it arrives some two hours before the game commences.

O’Neill will be at the forefront of the pre-match Trophy Day celebrations continue.

No stranger to silverware, O’Neill’s iconic spell as Hoops manager included three league titles, three Scottish Cups, one League Cup and, of course, the near-miss in the UEFA Cup Final in Seville in May 2003.

The one-time fans’ favourite, who quit Leicester City to take over at Parkhead in the summer of 2000, will address supporters on the Celtic Way shortly before the team’s arrival.

Ange Postecoglou and his triumphant players are due to arrive at 10:45am where they will undoubtedly be given a rousing reception.
At the final whistle, there will be the presentation of the team’s eleventh championship in 12 years and then it’s party time in the east end of Glasgow.
