  1. A Ceiler Gonof Rust on

TGBS, thanks. Not an overly controversial comment from Stokes. Looks like he’s gutted for his friend. So am I. I doubt I’ll be seeing him on Sunday.

Will Ronny and Johnny cut their snoots off to spite their miserable faces?

you missed braga. I was there.

I was also at Amsterdam 1-3. and artmedia (petroshalka was their real name I think) and Barca at home (2-1) and Milan (2-1) and man Utd (1-0), and I’ll be there when we hump Ajax. fucking Hail Hail. stop being wee lasses and let’s get behind the team- starting Sunday.

Glad we didn’t spend the same amount of money as Fenerbache just to get beaten by Molde.

Is anyone going to give Molde some credit?

Anyway, 2 wins and a draw will be fine.

  4. the glorious balance sheet on

    Turkey bhoy

One year after Neufchâtel Xamax we beat cologne, then one of the best teams in Germany.

One year after art media Bratislava we beat man utd in the CL.

One year after Sion we beat Barcelona in the CL.

Do you think we will beat teams of that ilk in Europe one year from now?

Ronny’s record in Europe is appalling especially if you set aside our encounters with part time Icelandic opposition.

Played 19 games, won 4, drawn 7, lost 8. Not games against giants of Europe either.

    Played 4 two-legged ties, won 1, lost 3.

It’s a horrific record and frankly inexcusable.

  5. Caught the highlights. Broonie was right, team didn’t turn up.

    No marking,bad passing.

Wonder if there is internal strife?

Who knows but we certainly didn’t play as a team or for each other.

“I saw Molde play well to the conditions and Celtic’s weakness

and Celtic play appalling, despite a promising start

    ….both on the same pitch”

Got to disagree. I saw Molde play better than us but I saw two crap team performances tonight. It was one of their players who made the most egregious error tonight. Molde’s passing stats were abjectly poor too. Name an outstanding Molde player? El Ayanoussi was the only one I would look at twice for a Celtic squad.

Maybe that’s what the players thought, and maybe that’s why they found themselves on the end of a 3-1 defeat.

The 3 guys that scored are all internationals in a team rated higher than our national team. Two of those players are 21. Do we have any 21 yr olds getting caps for their national side.

One thing they are not is a pub team.

  10. You’re completely wrong about Commons being good only in the spl – in Europe, his goals/assists rate is exceptional. Only JJ and Lubo better among midfielders of last 50 years.

I am not going to disagree or debate with any of your points

    And heading to my scratcher

    But

What do you think Ronny’s KPI’s will be ? Or KDI’s ( key Deliverables as team Manager) ?

How about PL’s as well ?

In my view they are failing

Hail Hail and off oot, will pick up response in morning

    ======================

IMO Ronnies’ KPI/KD’s will be qualification for group stage of the CL with a fall back of reaching the later stages of the Europa league every second season. The SPFL title and at least one cup each season would be considered mandatory given the financial advantage and lack of competition we have in Scotland.

PL’s KPI’s seem to be fairly obvious, to continue to reduce operating costs with extreme prejudice.

Scroll back to before kickoff there were about 4 of us that said it would be a tough game the rest on here were coming out with 4-1 wins.

CQN and maybe all Celtic fans are delusional, they think because we have a big stadium and won the big cup years back then we should always beat these “pub” teams.

So many idiots on here :O)

  13. Careful With That Tax, Moonbeams on

Do you honestly think the sharp suited bested CEO in the land..Will sack the Norwegian ‘ Klopp’ if we win the ole SPDiddyHell ..

    No chance!!

The Scandinavian’ Yes Man’ .. Will still be here next season .. Ready to go head to head with .. Warby’s Sevco ..

    Now, that is frightening!

  14. Just watched the lowlights again, even worse on second viewing.

I would be interested if anyone can tell us, where the pundits in Norway scared for molde that their former wonder manager of the year was bringing his mighty Celtic team to their home ?

Esp with his blue eye bhoy Stefan.

Or based on the malmo experience to they think Ronnie had a lucky couple seasons at stromsgaurd

  15. the_huddle on 23rd October 2015 12:49 am

    Get you now :)

Week in week out we face defensive set ups. Difference being it’s not players more or less as good as ours setting up like that.

3 or 4 times we had Efe or Boyatta in their half ahead of the centre circle, so maybe 35 yds of pitch left and all of their players in front of them. That’s tough to break down for any team.

I swear they had more players in their box when they were attacking, than we did when defending,

    Celtic Executive bonus fund dwindling

    Back to 1980s levels

Not to worry some Old Firm new dough should be in the pipeline next season to maintain executive bonus fund.

    Parasites!

  17. PS.

I get mightly pissed off when people talk about boring football under Lennon.

    Bollox.

We scored more and hammered more teams more often. With more points and some wonderful performances.

Ronnie hasn’t built a team, not his fault. But right now what he gets out of the collective is shit, and getting shitier.

    He just does not learn.

Sack the board, pl, did , and

  18. Solskjaer said he hadn’t had a chance to watch us, before tonight. That probably helped actually. There’s no attempt to anticipate our play. Just a simple set-up with lots of easy to understand roles and go out and do it.

  19. With Deila as manager the play will deteriorate further as will the playing squad.

There is no recognisable style of play and our technical ability is way short of any professional standard.

Ordinary teams out think and outplay us. Molde aren’t a pub team but they aren’t a good team.

Crowds are falling and the way Deila has us playing won’t change that.

Lawwell and DD have taken a huge gamble and I can’t see it coming off.

    .

This is the latest in an ever increasing number of depressing European nights under Deila and Collins.

I hope they don’t get the chance to subject us to any more. I fear they will get three more and maybe even a couple in July.

Shame on Deila. Collins, Lawwell & DD.

    I am so depressed.

  20. Margaret McGill on 23rd October 2015 1:09 am

It’s not that long since we’d have bitten your hand off to be in Europe at the end of October getting humped by a team from Norway.

  21. Off to bed.

I failed my own kpi again today, don’t think I will ever get a bonus.

    Kpi number 7.1

  22. I tell you what. It’ll be back to lucrative foreign tours next summer. It clearly makes no difference to anything other than the bank balance.

  23. At the end of every season we sell our best player/ s..This season we sell Van Dyke and lose his partner back to Man C.,.We then sign a central defender who plays one game ,then miss the next seven games, not the manager fault.

We also go into the season with a depleted strike force, again not the managers fault, but we expect that we will be a top team in the Europa League.

We find that we are not of the standard that we expect, but it is the managers fault, not the powers too be,(ie the directors) or the attitude of some of the players.

There is fault to be found in all aspects of the “team” but the management must be allowed to manage.Commons tonight overstepped his position, there is IMO no coming back,he is/can be a very good player but appears to be a disisive personality..

  24. Don’t worry the Deady Bears will be back next season to keep us competitive.

Don’t Worry ‘Bout a Thing…..Cos Every Little Thing is Gonna be alright….

Watching the ‘Old Firm’ will be the planet fitba equivalent of ponying up for a ticket to see the 2 hardest doormen in Sauchiehall Street have a scrap to determine who is the hardest doorman in……Sauchiehall Street….
