Leave the dug lovers and chapel goers alone,

By the way that is one shoite moniker so when you get a decent moniker you can then slag the dug lovers @ chapel goers :-)

    Good night n god bless

We reside in terrific times, I treat this place as a wee Celtic hyper space thing but that Twist n Turns hit a wee nerve (in a very good way) anyhows appreciate everything we have, it could be worse we might not have what we have

Hello again all you young rebels.

Just about sober enough to do a post, i reckon if i was pressed

through rollers pure Guinness would skoosh oot 8-))

What a day! St Patrick celebrated all over Oz and the main news

headlines had young hoopies dancing about the city centre.

Our pub down the peninsula was rocking and our resident singer

big Richie McKay was belting out the rebs all day.

    NAVANBHOY

And anyone else who knows OUR MATE MICK.

Paddymacoz our club president had an auction for him and his

young family, a beautifull framed and signed portrait of Conor McGregor

which was donated to our club and it raised the amazing sum of $400

that will be added to money already raised in collections and Paddy will

get his details from The Sydney CSC and send the money up asap.

The Celtic Family… what is it they say again?

  9. GERRYFAETHEBRIG just think if you or i had went to st augustines earlier or later, we would be best pals.glenboig rules ya bass.lol.

  10. I was away in Birmingham for a St. Paddy’s Day family wedding but I go tup early to be back here in time to watch our game today. It was not a good performance in attack and I was disappoited in Broony’s reaction but I content myself in knowing we are 10 points clear and, with players pushing for semi-final and, hopefully, final places, we might still see a 15 + points lead at the end of the campaign. All achieved with a younger squad this year and some new players bedded in.

That, plus 7iar, and a possible double treble has got to be wortha more than a half-hearted cheer.

  11. James Forrest.

    Excellent on the doc.

He may well be the oldest surviving celtic player at 90 next birthday.

His wiki summary is worth a read. And include mmcalliogs cqn interview about docs Chelsea team.

I looked at our coronation cup team. It’s 60 years ago. No one survives today.

  12. Brendan looked prettty furious in his post match interview and I really hope he was, absolutely terrible display especially after his vow to win all of our remaining games this season . Hope he is laying it on the line to those players what it means to play for our team and any of them that are not up for it should be shown the door HH

  13. There’s a “ Hun like” sense of entitlement becoming evident amongst some of our support. 2 losses in domestic games in almost 2 seasons, 100% success in two seasons of cup ties, most of our players having played approx 20 games more than their Scottish opponents, a vg chance of a double treble, yet 2 dropped points v Motherwell has some supporters very unhappy?

God forbid Brendan doesn’t win the double treble , they’ll be calling for his head.

For goodness sake, he’s trying to get a breather into some of the players, and we are bringing players back in from long term injury whilst still missing a few.

10 points clear. A game I’m hand. Chill out for goodness sake.

It’s a long time since we had it so good.

  14. I am glad BR seemed a touch angry and agitated. When he or us are happy with mediocrity then we should take stock.

I read somewhere that the`euphoria` of winning the Lottery last for about 18 months then the lifestyle afforded seem the norm. I think the pleasure we feel in our success may well have a similar shelf life for many.

  16. I’ve been lucky in life as a Celtic supporter. Went to most of the games during our NIAR era, European Cup, attended 4-2 10 men win the League, Big Billy’s successful years including Centenary Season. On to David Hay’s Love Street win. Wim’s team that stopped TIAR, the MON years, WGS, Lenny, Ronny and Brendan. I’ve had a great life as a supporter of the greatest team in the world. This time, now, under Brendan ranks with the greatest of our past achievements: Invincibles, 4 Tropies and one, possibly two, before the end of the season. Happy, happy days with a world class manager at the helm.

Lap it up Bhoys. It doesn’t get any better than this.

    Hail! Hail!

  17. JJ

I think the majority of supporters are content, indeed very content, with what Brendan has delivered. Definitely an element though that in my opinion, over react to a below average performance.

My youngest for one! If you’d seen his whatsapp messages at time up yesterday you’d have thought we’d just lost to Albion Rovers.

    I blame the parents:-)

  18. JJ

There’s been plenty of chat on here about the psychological state of players and alike.

Leaving aside levels of euphoria – or lack of – how well do you think we played yesterday? How does it compare to last season? And given our v significant over other teams, are we dominating games and this season as we should?

    HH jamesgang

  19. I think some fans now expect us to win every time we play. Football isn’t and never has been like that. Yesterday was just one of those days. The manager and players are under enough pressure. Let’s cut them some slack. They are all giving 100% for us.

  20. Jamesgang

We are definitely below last year performance levels . No doubt. I’m sure Brendan is aware of it and will strive to bring the levels back up next season.

Given we aren’t at last year levels, he’s done remarkably well to have us in position for another treble.

Just wait till we do start playing better again…. mind the gap will become mind the chasm :-)

  21. TNT

    I hope so.

I would like us to emulate bad bassa winning sides – windies ‘black wash’ cricket team, Aussie cricketers of 90s and the All Blacks – when you have your opponents by the throat….squeeze harder.

    HH jamesgang

  22. Morning all. While I’m a bit disappointed about our performance yesterday, I am also only too well aware that too many of our players must be either running on empty, having had no real rest for at least 2 years, while playing a lot more games than every other player in Scotland, or they are not match fit, as they are recovering from long term injuries.

I am of the camp that we need to cut them some slack and get solidly behind each and every one of them.

If you’ve watched the Celtic as long as I have, you will know we live in great times.
