Very, very slack play allows Motherwell to score. Very lazy. Great score and great win for Celtic. We have some great goal scorers. Boli and Lewis were much improved as the game progressed. Loki’s like being a great weekend. Come on the Hibees!

He is an absolute clown of the highest order and his absolute slaughtering of every breath Boli took was nothing short of stalking. FFS the guy had. A few moments but I’ll take his positives over the few negatives.

Hope ghuys dive Boli a bit of a break now. His confidence must have been low with even Hatem asking fans to give him a break, but he never hid. Both himself & Julien will need time to settle, New Country, new team, new League, Encouragement not slagging please.
I think that’s 9 goals and three points better of than this time last year.

As one who was disappointed at the decision to appoint Neil I have to take my hat off to him and the team for doing something we never really did under the previous manager, give well a doing at their place. Great performance in the second half. Well done!
The last goal should emphasise the obvious fact that the defence must be strengthened.
That goal did us a favour.
The usual 20 minutes playing like strangers and giving the other mob a goal start. After that started to click. Great attacking football but the defence certainly playing like strangers, early days!

Good result after a stuttering performance early doors, but was really annoyed at that 2nd goal we lost.
Sloppy careless play to concede the corner then very poor defending to concede the goal. Can’t afford to defend like that when it counts. Otherwise take the 3 points and move on to Tuesday.
After a poor start a convincing win. Jullien easy beat in the air for a big man.

Great win but the need for a settled back four is NFL number one issue.
If you’re gonna score 12 goals in 2 games then it is inevitable you will concede a few along the way. Who cares?.!
We are playing very open, expansive, expressive football and scoring loads of goals. Lovely to watch. We now need to pay attention to shutting up shop at the back. Motherwell started well with their high press (we were also a bit slack) but I wondered how long they could keep it up. We were totally dominant as the match progressed. Big Kris was brilliant and so was Olli N’tcham.

good job we are scoring for fun up front as we still look very weak at the back when attacked.
LM came onto a good game once he move to his preferred right wing position.

To paraphrase an earlier post…
This was a a banana skin fixture…
Motherwell with a good combination of hammer throwers and footballers were well up for it.
We had two new guys playing at Fir Park for the first time.
We fielded a back four who hadn’t played together before (in those positions I think anyway).
We had a 4.30am return on Thursday morning from Romania.
We had an early kickoff.
We have our eye on Tuesday night against Cluj.
6 points & 12 goals in first two fixtures.
Job done but still a work in progress at times.
apologies but julien , what is he 6ft 5ins and being totally out jumped and outmuscled for their 2 goal shouldn’t happen and dosent give you confidence in his defensive ability.
