Some are never happy. 6 points secured with 13 goals scored.
Lustig, Boyata, Benkovic and Tierney replaced with 2 midfielders and 2 new players.
Still some work to be done but a fantastic start to the season – 7 games played. 6 wins and a draw!

The last time we won at Fir Park it was a 7 goal thriller. 3-4. Today was less nervy.
Someone saying CallumnMcGregor having a good game,I don’t think so, being caught out to often.

That goal of a start for our opponents …
I can’t emphasize enough how key the attitude, drive and finish from Ajer was to get us back on level terms so quickly afterwards.
Had we failed to score so soon then we would have started to twitch and get frustrated..
Ajer seemed to decide that he’d had enough and he’d just get us a goal.
If he’d been playing at CB would he have come in from the wing to score like that?
As Corkcelt says – we have ourselves a right back and a centre back.

It’s strange seeing so many posters who feel they have to find fault in that performance.
Absolutely outstanding by Celtic today after a tough Euro game and no time to prepare. Ntcham was my MOTM closely followed by big Kris. And a big shout out to Lenny who is managing the squad well. Let’s see Schved(sp?) soon please !

Considering we didn’t start playing till the 37th minute, and our midfield was swamped till then, that was a great result.
Ajer was some way way beyond outstanding. Ollie excellent too.

Me too. Would not want any other Motherwell player. Donnelly was ok.
Good performance and a great result. Kris MOTM for me. I thought Broonie was poor, 3 games a week no longer within his abilities. Difficult to rest your captain and talisman but needs to be done.
Ollie giving a pre-Moussa departure performance was excellent. Boli came onto a game after a very iffy start. Unsure about Jullien – looking like an early Boyata. I would like to see Jozo back for Tuesday.

Great comeback after a nervy, stuttering start. The defence was all over the place – Julien, Boli and Bain in particular. After the equaliser, we started to dominate possession and create chances. Another important goal for LG in getting his confidence right back up there – it’s a massive bonus for us to be able to rotate him and Edouard and not put it all on the latter’s shoulders.
Like others above, was surprised to see how easy Julien was beaten the air for the 2nd goal. He hardly got off the ground. Needs to watch KT’s vertical jump test at Highbury :)

Looked like we had a Romanian trip hangover the first 30 minutes. Kris Ajer looks like he has developed physically and mentally into a Celtic star in the making. Lenny stated that we are still a work in progress. Looking good so far this season.

Outstanding performance after a sloppy start throughout the team. Easy to blame Mbombo and Jullien but the whole team were sloppy including Broony. After we scored Motherwell got the fear and dropped off only to be passed to death and outclassed all over the pitch. Ajer gargantuan, Ntcham the player we know he can be, Morgan worked his socks off and then some and Mbombo came onto a game and did very well imo. James Forrest is unplayable and strikes such fear into the opponent. So much to be pleased with and the attitude and the work rate is simply immense. NL take a bow. The players, the management and the support are aligned, together and what a unit it is. We will take some stopping.

– we were playing poorly against a team that was running rings round us & has proven a challenge to us in previous fixtures there.
– our midfield had no grip on the game & our 2 new players looked uncertain & unconvincing.
For clarity – just an opinion.

Yes it took us a while but that is players playing together really,for the 1st time.Some out of position,some still getting used to our game.We weathered it brilliantly and as the game went on controlled it.Motherwell were very good today.Are teams not allowed to be.Great result,in an historically difficult fixture.Especially on the back of a Euro game.

You do know the game lasts for 90 minutes not 23.For clarity just an opinion.
Just spent the last 30 minutes watching the 5-0 game against the huns when we clinched 7iar. Flippin heck, we were brilliant, it could have been 10. We absolutely leathered them. Ntcham and OE were suberb.
God, would love to see us doing that again this season.
