Egg chasing connections brought me into the company of your typical semi literate / housetrained detective who was in reality a boy in a man’s body.
Happy to tell tales of his group / squad doing duty at CP and away games where they had a sweepstake on who could lift the person with the most Irish / Catholic sounding surname — some weeks were a rollover and the stakes got quite high.
