MULUMBU ON WAY BACK

CELTIC’S summer signing Youssouf Mulumbu will resume training tomorrow after missing the past four games through injury.

The DR Congolese international midfielder hasn’t played since the 3-1 Europa League Group B setback against RV Salzburg on October 4.

Mulumbu, who will also sit out tonight’s trip to Dundee for the Dens Park clash, is hoping to get back into contention, especially with Scott Brown and Olivier Ntcham struggling for fitness.

The 31-year-old former Kilmarnock star has started only two games since free agent move in August – the 2-1 defeat against his old team at Rugby Park and the loss in Austria.

However, Brendan Rodgers confirmed: “Youssouf will train with the squad on Thursday.”

Jozo Simunovic, stretchered off in the 2-0 loss against RB Leipzig, could be ruled out until at least the match at Hamilton Accies on November 24.

The Hoops boss added: “Jozo will probably be back after the international break as he’s sprained an ankle.”
