Our redoubtable former manager

1226

No one on Celtic Quick News ever doubted Gordon Strachan, did they?

It’s been a long 8 years since that dark week but our former manager demonstrated enormous resilience to win three consecutive league titles and twice qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League.  He is perfect for the Scotland role, although, to be frank, I didn’t think his squad had last night’s result in them.  Well done to all.

We have a special Father’s Day offer for the Willie Wallace book.  Order between now and Thursday morning and we’ll include a Father’s Day card, complete with your own message. See the big graphic to the right..

You can choose from two cards, see explanation and choices here, one with Tony Watt after scoring against some Spanish lot, the other with Billy McNeill receiving some trophy or other.

Click on the button below, enter the text you would like to appear in the middle of the card, and Tony will post your book off in time for Father’s Day.

phil may have been a pain in the erchie to them, but I am fearing his silence in all of this all of sudden, I just hope he is leaving the way clear for ” our lotte” to blow them out of the water…

But what you can do to protect your guardians income

If minority shareholders of a club can demonstrate economic prejudice against them, the EC may investigate a complaint.

Some Celtic supporters are not powerless after all…

Who’s the wee guy that does the G P’s? Hes on just now and has just spoke to James Mc Avoy at the Canadian GP.Mentioned James was a HOOPS fan. He’s got glasses and a “wig”.

I said so in a letter to our CEO he did not deny my allegations, he emphasised the need to support the club. If Ogilvie is up for re-election and this goes through our board are complicit

I know Leggatt who cuts and pastes his stories or Phil a serious investigative journalist.

Which one of them is still in the NUJ?

Must admit I’ve never questioned the motives of financially insignificant clubs

I think Phil tweeted last week that he was working on something at the moment, not Sevco related, and that he wouldn’t be posting as much as usual for a wee while.

Charlotte appears to be doing enough work for both of them though…

you know the current SFA situation can be compared to a lavvy pan

A lavvy pan on a supporters bus on a long away trip to some far off place in Europe

A lavvy pan that has been blocked by so many big deposits that is stinking the whole bus oot, but no one wants to go near it.

But eventually someone somewhere at sometime will need to get a big stick and poke the big smelly jobby down the hole in order to clear the whole bloody mess

who has got the big stick?

  11. If RC Ogilvie is re-elected next week then we can all pack our bags and move out.

    HH!!

  12. Some great grand prix for those interested.

As for the Charlottes post, it’s like we knew we were being shafted and now he/she is posting it in slow mo, thanks for that. As I know nothing will come of it I don’t know if the shafting is good or not.

  13. Labour party MP from Ayrshire battling with UEFA on behalf of Sevco, politicians eh……………….

  14. Asonofdan,

I raised that issue weeks ago and considered raising funds to take action, then someone on here told me the board were making noises at UEFA another lie.

Then Gregory made his next statement, any affiliated club can demand investigation into hooky associations and I thought, why should I spend more of my hard earned, paying for the protection to my investment that is the legal responsibility of the Plc, our Plc do not have the discretion of which share holders investment they choose to protect, if they are negligent in their duties to protect our investment then they are legally responsible.

Lets stop pretending that some how the support should take up that responsibility, it’s not our job, so far the club have been cheated out of millions which should have seen the minority sharehders either increase their stake holding or premium.

That is our own board who have denied each and every shareholder their rightful reward for investing in the club they love.

Yet on here all we get is drivel about what a good job they have done being implicate in the corruption that has defrauded us shareholders of our rightful rewards.

And that shame is still defended by the very very stupid greenhun

  15. googybhoy

Donohoe is a well-known hun. Think he is/was the secretary(?) of the hun supporters club at Westminster.

He also happens to be my local MP, although I am based in Italy for most of the year.

Celtic cannot be seen to condone that moron in any shape or form!! And I wouldnt accept abstaining either!!!

  17. I'm Neil Lennon (tamrabam) on

I think its time for the club to publicly ask stewart regan about his role in this

I think its time for the only show in town to boycott league cup and Scottish cup ties, home and away until regan and Ogilvie are offski

its time for the jobby to be pushed down the pan and for the cludgy to be cleaned out

with or without the MSM or the club

The tenor of that article is outrageous …..Scottish football is riddled with Hun supporters never mind the spouses of same ….doesn’t see to make copy tho

At that time English was sniffing around Whyte trying to ingratiate himself with the new regime in waiting

  20. leftclicktic on

    Ogilvie will be re-elected unopposed(IMHO)

With all clubs ours included saying nothing.

    I hope i’m so wrong

  21. I'm Neil Lennon (tamrabam) on

I guess being married to a celtic supporter in Scotland means that your judgement is somehow impaired according to the Scotsman

mind you we have all seen how the “justice” system operates in auld reekie

  22. Tallybhoy

I think it will be for me …

Surely we can’t acquiesce in this continuing fraud

  23. Awe_Naw_No_Annoni_Oan_Anaw_Noo on

    So

WHO can tell me where Media house, the SFA, and the huns by their I.T services from ?

Thanks in advance for any info ?

    HH

  24. With Hampden being out of commission for a while Celtic should refuse to let Celtic Park be used.

The SFA would love to use Ibrox but there’s extra revenue generated at CP and the suits freebies don’t come cheap.

Also Ibrox might not be as good a stadium as they would like, any UEFA game would lead to increased safety scrutiny.

Tom English has replied to that with “No idea”.

Although that might be just a general admittance to his general prowess in the area of sports journalism
