  1. Thanks to those contributing to the chainsaw discussion.

Mine is only a wee one (ooer missus). 30cm thingy. With instant stop technology. And I must confess I did have a wee incident with it last year. Standing on a plank about 4 feet high. The plank broke and it was all slow motion thereafter. Heard the cracking noise. Brain recognised I was falling backward with chainsaw looking into my eyes. Was able to throw it out of harms way before thudding down on my back onto soft grass.

No damage done other than to plank. This particular plank was fine.

I will take extra care today. Only operating at shoulder height.

I’m not a Hun, just a Tim with the view that it’s a waste of time, no need for name calling, it weakens your opinion, let’s keep it civil please.

As I’v said if it’s a slam dunk then the res.12 guys don’t need CFC , get into them, charge them with fraud, if it’s 100% cert. Then there’s no problem.

I’ve watched a couple of Trumps rallys now.

The guy is flashing 666 hand signals blatantly and so often it is like he is pissing over those that don’t know.

    Dark days ahead.

    Night Night.

    ============================================

If he managed to make six hundred and sixty-six hand signals, that must have been a long rally…

You are missing the point 100%.

It’s the job of our board to look after their shareholders, actually, it’s the law, all of the shareholders, not just those and such as those.

They are being derelict in their duty to their shareholders, end of.

The sfa won’t entertain the shareholders, they have made it clear they will talk to the club, the club won’t talk cos they are embroiled up to their necks in getting the OF back on track, it’s all about the money, and if you would open your eyes instead of doffing your cap to the corrupt charlatans on our board you would see it.

They want the OF back, it’s as plain as the nose on yer face.

You will complain like the rest of us at the cheating yet you will condone it, the mind boggles so it does.

  6. Having had time to reflect on the game yesterday I think our substitutes should be chosen wisely for the run in with people who come on being able to change the team up and make a big impact, not just like for like.

    Super subs if you like.

Roberts comes to mind as a player who can run at people and make them change their game plan to possibly double mark etc.

Broonie needs taken out of the team and work on his fitness as it is not good to see him even 95 percent fit as most teams pick on him to kick and wind up and at less than 100 per cent I fear red cards for him especially in a certain semi final looming , could be the result.

His leadership qualities cannot be questioned but yesterday Charlie strolled through the game as a leader with more poise than I have seen anyone else in that position this year.

Tough job for Ronny to keep them all happy but that is why he is paid the big bucks I suppose.

BTW yellow card and penalty yesterday was the correct decision technically, and yes we have seen lots not given especially the other way but Erik was silly even using his arms in the area IMHO.

Wait till Euros in France with all the new laws of the game coming in effect.

    Confused now?

    You will be.

  7. Hello, I was typing this post and got a message telling me to slow down, the message came from CQN !Anyone else get that?

Anyway, I was just comparing working with chainsaws to entering the Res 12 debate on here, very dangerous.

I am a dreamer, a character trait I cannot escape. I prefer to leave the Res 12 activity to the band of good people who have had their shoulder to this wheel since day one.

In my mind I see our band of Res 12 pioneers being carried shoulder high to the Hampden steps whilst a bunch of florid faced half wits wearing blazers are led to a cart. This cart, with Blazers aboard, will be paraded slowly around town centres in Scotland allowing football fans to pelt them with whatever comes to hand.

When you are off the booze for Lent, you have a lot of thinking time.

  8. montreal_bhoy on

    Minceyheidman….

my own reaction to the penalty yesterday was that ‘in Scotland, that was never a penalty’ although technically it was.

Ref’s dictate the rules as they see fit, it was ever thus.

  9. Y not67 you attempted to intimidate those taking res12forward. Keep it civil?

    Yeah right.

If only Nelsinho mandates would have given up eh? After all it was pointless to even try.

  10. Jmccomick if it isn’t then it should be :)

    Y not67. Yeah right.

It’s pathetic. You advocate a strategy of do nothing cause it’s all too hard plus you were attempting to discredit res12.

Are you on the Celtic board?

  11. TBJ says Wee Oscar Knox is in heaven with the angels on

Never understood folk coming on here under a different blog name. .. pretty obvious to people with even half a brain who they really are .

  12. So the intelligent half just shouted…

“You got that leaning tower of Pisa yet?”.

    “Nae luck Doll”

“Ach well you might as well get on the computer then!”

    Hail Hail

Are you reading my posts mate? I’m saying go ahead and get them then, the exact opposite of what you are saying I said, my point is it’s all talk, talk, talk, they’ve went this far CFC look like they want nothing more to do with it ( if I’m reading what the res.12 are posting right) and as you say it’s 100% slam dunk, what’s the hold up? You honestly think you can take on the SFA with fraudulent charges and walk away from it, with a …awe that’s ok lads it was a misunderstanding? They will be after them, and that’s not a threat, it’s a thought that some don’t have, and it’s worth a thought, be very very carefull here, that’s all I’m saying.

  14. I also received a standard response from John Paul Taylor.

“Thanks for your email, I will of course pass on your views on this matter, I’m aware there has been a lot of discussion around this subject.

As a rule The Club does not comment on social media exchanges, but I can confirm that the Club’s board continues to act in the best interests of Celtic and our supporters. The Club has been in dialogue with the shareholders involved in resolution 12 from the 2013 AGM and this will continue.

    Best regards

    JP”

Here is my response, he is trying to be cute in suggesting the board don’t comment on social media comments. Not quite in line with Mr Bankier when it suits

“Dear John, thanks for the reply, however I have written to you once before and that was as a result of our chairman commenting on social media exchanges.

Your response is disingenuous. I would welcome a view on the boards intentions with regard to resolution 12.

    Regards”

  15. John James nailing King to the wall again…

    by sitonfence

“Many of the clubs in the Premiership will also be hoping Rangers is promoted because Scottish football has suffered on many levels since our club went down to the bottom division.”

The aforementioned statement by career criminal Dave King is just the latest of a long line of risible quotes by an individual who does not take the time to watch the club he alleges to support when he is in the UK. He prefer to watch Chelsea. Does he think that Ross County are missing Rangers as they take the field against Hibs today in the first of the titles that actually count? The Rangers-leaning SMSM, which is an editor-led phenomenon, will make more copy capital out of training cup encounter with Peterhead, but I will not be duped into believing that King’s Rangers have arrived. I am a critic of the Level Five led propaganda in Scottish football, but occasionally a pundit pushes against his editor’s wishes, as was the case with Michael Gannon, of the Daily Record, who took King to task:

“There’s been street parades and parties in Paisley, Perth, Aberdeen, and Inverness. There’s been top six finishes and cup runs elsewhere and crowds have increased at more than half of the top flight grounds.Even the bank managers have been kept sweet. The old Armageddon line has been flogged to death but instead of going down the tubes, many clubs have cleared the decks. Dundee United, Killie, the Dons and Hibs have wiped their debts, Hearts have escaped admin and are packing out Tynecastle every other week. They couldn’t care less if Rangers are in the top flight or not. They didn’t expect to win the league before and won’t do so in the future.”

There will be a party in Leith or Dingwall tonight. It’s a marvellous occasion for Scottish football. A team from the Scottish Championship taking on a unit that played with no fear against CFC in the semi-final. If King had invested £30m on the team, as he mendaciously promised to do, Rangers would have had every chance of being in today’s final. He lied as it’s a character trait that has served him well in his four decades of fraud, racketeering, money laundering, bribery, market manipulation and witness intimidation.

There is an inordinate amount of hype in regard to what Rangers have achieved this season, but who among us would not expect a team with a player/coaching budget of £7.2m and the best training facilities in Scottish football, to prevail against Alloa, Dumbarton and Livingston? In my opinion there are seven fodder clubs in our current division, with only Hibs and Falkirk making a fist of competition. Both clubs have beaten Rangers this season, with St Johnstone putting paid to our league cup ambitions.

Mr Warburton was indignant when his team were criticized for their early exit to the team from Perth, but has done nothing to dampen the enthusiasm generated by a comprehensive defeat of Dundee. Mr Warburton is a smart operator. His target audience is English chairmen. He knows as well as anyone that King is a busted flush and that the funds he requires for next season will not be forthcoming. No-one could argue that Scott Allan or Toumani Diagouraga could have added value to the Rangers team. Securing only one of three transfer targets does not bode well.

In a one-off game, Rangers could beat CFC, Aberdeen and Hearts, but over a 38 game season their current squad will be found lacking. Everyone is anticipating that Rangers will usurp Hearts’ third position in the Premiership, but what would happen if they fell 30 points behind CFC and Aberdeen as the two leading teams in Scotland vied for the title?

Rangers underperformed last season. Mr Warburton has been a safe pair of hands and delivered what was expected of him. But if King thinks he will get away with two Bosman signings from Accrington Stanley for next season, he will soon be disabused of this notion. The Premiership teams are not lining up to applaud Rangers on to the park. If Rangers want to be in the finals of tournaments next season, King will need to find more than a million from his tax evasion spoils.

Very good point. Your reply was similar to the one I got.

I just left it at that. It’s not the fault of JP,he’s only an employee.

If I was to send my complaint to PL,I would address it in a similar way to Derek and Clive writing to the Director General of the BBC,substituting Glasgow for London.

    TBJ

    Aye,true.

Now someone has explained to him that it wasn’t necessary!

  19. None of us are pleased at our indifferent performances this season – we are frustrated with our European failures which to a great extent spoiled the season, almost before it started.

When we lost the central defensive pairing of VVD and Jason – it was always going to be difficult to replace them adequately – we have failed to do this.

In the league,as I have alluded to elsewhere, if we had beaten Aberdeen in one of the Pittodrie fixtures this year, we would be in an identical position with Aberdeen as we were last year, except for goal difference.

We have conceded nine more goals than at this stage last year and this is, as we all know, almost certainly due to our problems at centre-back. We have also scored eleven more goals than last season, basically down to Griffiths’s form.

So there we are, on form, Aberdeen are NOT so much better and we are NOT so much worse – it all really comes down to ONE game at Pittodrie….funny eh?

As last season what really matters is form from now to the end of the season – let’s hope we kick-on!!!
