    Just finished watching the game. Mrs acgr put her jackboots on and took control of the telly so I turned my phone off to avoid the score. Absolutely delighted with tonight’s result and performance given our recent exertions and December schedule. Stuart Armstrong is growing into becoming a Celtic player

     

     

    Great to see the Griff back and making a massive impact on the game.

    That was a very astute assessment of where Paddy is right now.

     

    He does seem to be overthinking it.

     

    I’m not convinced he is a good fit in Brendan system.

     

    He seems unsure of his role and is very quick now to pass rather than take people on.

    Wee Paddy is a terrific football player but he’s not our player so I’m ambivalent to his inclusion. If he plays and plays well, scores, sets up then that’s magic, But, he’ll be gone soon enough which is a pity. For a 19 boy he aint half bad to have in your set up.

     

     

    Having said that, I hope he terrorises defenders for his remaining time in hoops. I’d especially like him to destroy the huns on the 31st.

    MIT, if you find out could you put them in touch wi Mrs acgr, she was having none of me commanding the controls tonight, no siree. I had to record the game and turn off all media devices to avoid the score.

    Would be fantastic if Paddy tore the huns a new one.

     

    I cannot see him being here after this season as it seems Brendan is not totally convinced he is what we need.

     

    In the right setting he is outstanding and i think he will be a star.

     

    But the flair he showed last season has disappeared apart from fleeting moments.

     

    On Tuesday he shone in the first and was invisible in the second.Did he have different instructions for second?

     

    It seems he’s not confident in Brendan’s system

    I’m more than happy to watch Paddy turn on a bit of magic now and again but in the back of my mind I still have this voice that says, he aint our player. Great as it is to watch when he turns it on, I’d rather we were bringing our own players through.

     

     

    I also think James Forrest is a more effective player over 90 minutes than Paddy Roberts.

     

     

    Destroying the hun would be a bit of icing on Paddy’s cake but ultimately he’ll be heading back south. Why would he not?

     

     

    I’m not a fan of loan players unless we have an option to purchase.
