    It was good to have a few of the fringe players having a run out tonight. We will pick up suspensions and injuries so it is important that the second 11 can come in to the team.

    He was quite steady tonight IMO, and it was a brilliant intervention to set up Celtic’s 3rd goal.

     

    Fair play to the bhoy tonight.

     

    I also prefer Leigh to DemPELE at this time but the Bhoy is only 20 !

    Sutton and Craigan are the Punch and Judy of punditry in Scotland. Some of the spats are genuine but most is probably contrived to make good tv. It works. At least the BT package is a positive coverage of Scottish football where the game talked up. Compare to the negativity of Tanner, McCann and Walker on Sky!!

    The Griff for me as well.

     

    Never been know to stick up for anyone anti Celtic, but imo, Craig Gordons right leg defo made contact with the Thistle player, I saw it as plain as I can see anything, if it merited him to be sent off, given he plays for Celtic he was very lucky the cheats never saw it else he would have walked, no doubts about it.

     

    All in all Brother Thompshun did a superb job tonight, he should have booked Broonie at the end of the first half, so one we get away with, no sending CG off anohter one we get away with, these things stack up in our favour so how the F can they be bias, he done us up like kippers tonight, he is a master at it.

    Thought it might have been a struggle tonight. Although we weren’t at our most fluent, off the back of short rest after CL game, we were more than good enough.

     

    It’s Moussa for me over Leigh . I like Leigh as an impact sub but it’s obvious he doesn’t see himself in that role and I don’t blame him.

    Yip, no complaints had CG been sent off, all I have ever wanted was a level playing field, no bias, if we deserve bookings we deserve them, if we should have pens and fouls given against us, give them, but all I ask is it happens in our favour as well, fairness and honesty really shouldn’t be too much to ask for in this day and age, but it seems it is.

    Was baited with a couple of Sevco fans at work today on my return

     

    to work from a wee trip to Mankchester

     

     

    Basically saying i was glad to be out of Europe and save further embarrassment

     

    added dont give us any pi$h about how much money you earned.

     

     

    I said i agreed as we can now concentrate on the league as Sheep have found

     

    out in recent season we get better when no euro distraction..

    Thought McGregor was dynamite when he came on. Armstrong Man of the Match, no brainier. Gamboa solid enough. Great finish by Griffiths and assist for the the first goal. He needs more games, will he get them? The 4th goal was a thing of beauty!

    Debates now starting on whether this Celtic side would beat the MON team.

     

     

    I think that tells you we are going places.

     

     

    MONs team was expensively assembled with Momo Sylla and David Fernandez added. We changed to a back 3 under MON and shifted big Joos to the left then signed Ulrik Laursen. This side have the foundations of rock solid talent where by comparison MON had talent with the sun setting on their careers.

     

    There is now the luxury of being able to sign 2 players to make this side untouchable.

    I agree m8.

     

    They’ve shown what a bit of attention to Scottish football can do. The standing up, semi-in-your-face style, the debate (contrived or not).

     

    They’ve also got a couple of pundits I have respect for……Sutton for one (although it wasn’t a bloody red tonight), Michael Stewart when he’s on. Can’t stand Craighan but I have grudging respect for his bounce-back-ability when Sutton verbally batters him again and again.

     

     

    It makes tired Sky look, erm tired!

     

    With Sky it goes on 1 minute before kick off, gets bumped at half time and bumped the second Rogers is interviewed at the end of the game. I actually watch BT.

    Disagreed.On everything.

     

    We don’t need a defensive coach. Craig Gordon will be hard to replace , personally I think his overall game including passing has improved since he returned to the team.

     

    As for passing the ball sideways and backwards , we were winning the match by 3 goals ( and I backed Celtic-2 ) , it’s called game management.

     

    Lastly , we’ve had 3 sleeps since we played our last Champions league game.

     

    Relax and enjoy , it’s great being a Tim these days. HH

    My view on refs…. if it takes three replays in slow motion from different angles to show the ref/assistant ref made a mistake then that it a genuine mistake.

     

     

    LIVE I thought the PT player dived… seeing the replay I think there was contact but the PT player overreacted, the PT goal I thought the player that scored was onside.. There are bad refs in Scotland and there are definitely some who are anti Celtic, the way I look at it is what would happen if it was the other way around.

     

     

    If it was Leigh running through on goal would we have wanted a penalty?
