Leigh Griffiths for me. We might get 18 million for Dembele. He might go on to be as good as Drogba but we would have Griff sniffing out goals.
Who would you sign to improve this team?
Imagine a Nakamura or a Lubo signing now? Personally I’d go for a 3rd midfielder to compliment Armstrong and Brown.
A right back? A goalie in the summer.
It was Relevant that Nigel Farage commented that it was good that The President was Willing to say SORRY.
Tonight was the first of some ‘easier’ domestic opponents after an intensive few months of critical games.
A few changes – maybe a touch 2nd gear first half but job done. Armstrong on a rich vein of form at the moment – Griff a tad rusty but the goal scoring instinct is ever there.
Craig maybe lucky (light brush of PT player) not to be carded but equally would’ve been harsh given the PT player made a meal of it when going down (didn’t deserve a yellow).
Think the MIB was ‘on the spot’ after Besiktas – was frightened of making an arse of it and took the easy option.
Expect BR to make use of upcoming home games to examine some of the fringe squad pre-January window.

I think Griff is an excellent player in SPL.
In Europe he is a little slow in thought against better defenders.
He can make this adjustment as Rogic has done.
Dembele is better at this and holds the ball up well.
They both are excellent and since one striker is not enough why would we even contemplate selling either?
Griffiths for me. Better finisher and more of a team player. I look at reactions when other players score, Moussa seems disinterested where as Griffiths loves each and every goal.

I Love you to bits… My opinion is that Leighser is not anywhere near Moussa as a Striker @ the Highest levels.
Just my opinion.
Gamboa…..not for me….not Celtic class….A Ralston….not sure if ready for the step up….SPL ready mibbe….give him a chance to bed in and see if he enhances….CL chances nxt year ;-))

Despite struggling in the strong wind Celtic coasted to a victory by 4 goals to 1.
Armstrong again was a stand out but McGregor, Izzy and Griffiths all deserve praise for their performances.
This Celtic just keep marching on.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers: “I don’t think Partick Thistle have conceded more than two goals in a game this season. On the back of Tuesday night [away to Manchester City] with only two days recovery, to come here and play to that level was exceptional really.
“You give Partick credit tonight, they made it really difficult, but the mentally in the team is very strong. I can see the development, the relationship between training and the game, they are taking on board the concepts of our build-up play and consolidating the game and then we’ve obviously got goals in the team.
“We’re staying very composed and calm under pressure and that’s a really good sign.”

The type of player that Roberts is means that he’s always likely to infuriate the support.
We’ve seen dozens of them at Celtic in our lifetimes. I’ve spoken to many older Celtic supporters who talk of Jinky’s off days. Provan, McGeadie et al could win a game on their own but could also play 90 minutes without meaningful contribution.
Tonight Paddy was predictable and frustrating.
Then I think of his goal against a top team on Tuesday night and I smile.

I used to listen to MON and be in awe of his media management.
I listened to WGS and was in awe of his game intelligence.
Now I listen to Brendan Rodgers and I’m in awe of both of these aspects.
Armstrong was immense tonight. McGregors cameo was fantastic also. Nice to see the griff get his gallusness back after he scored.
Not a ticket to be had tonight. Loads looking as well.
