Morning. My Dad and I are fine. I am even able to show him our goals on my tablet. He is enjoying watching us as much as he ever did.
Hope you are well too.
I think Grace is an excellent addition to our repetoire.
By the way, my Dad’s bus wouldn’t allow a lot of those songs sung last night be sung going to and from games. One guy tried (I think going to Aberdeen) and he was put off the bus.

Didn’t see last night so can’t comment – I will however comment on this .
My basic position is Free Speech , sing what you want , say what you want and deal with the consequences — However – Tuesday night in Manchester ——— blootered buffoons on a tram packed with commuters bellowing a choon about someone who was murdered by the British Army .. Naff , self serving ( aren’t we the Rebel -look at us ) and seemingly completely lacking respect for the subject of the song . Turned my stomach , I got off the tram before I had a flakey .

I’m glad to hear that your dad is still able to maintain his love of Celtic. The value of modern technology!
The reason is asked about Grace is because, apart from being a song about young love, it’s also about a militant Irish Republican who was about to be put to death as a result of his participation in trying to overthrow British rule in Ireland.
The difficulty is in deciding what’s acceptable and what’s not.
If the Celtic Trust ever make any sort of statement on the song choice of the Celtic support I’ll be sure to post it. They haven’t and won’t but I’m pretty sure that any objective Tim, those without an agenda against their fellow Tims, will be well aware of this.

They need the numbers at they’r back right now on this fan representation on the board push, so running with the hare and chasing with the hounds suits them at this present time, trust me HT is the runner, and like the rest of the C T he/ they won’t give you an answer on this one, and the very same guys say that about the Celtic board, who da thunk?
Have there ever been any arguments on CQN about singing Provo songs by Celtic supporters?
Yes.

Tough to beat a 36 point transformation in one season, up against cheats who had spent tens of millions on their team.
Martin’s was the greatest improvement in performance since John Sullivan wrote ‘Only Fools and Horses”, having penned “Just Good Friends”.

As for the singing of – long winded republican songs
Why, at a Cellic game ?
Do these songs make the team play better ?
Do the players even know who’s being sung aboot ?
The IRA put the guns away…the troubles ended
So, why keep it going ?….there is no currency
The folk at the sharp end of the troubles will be glad of peace…
Cellic have loads of magical songs……sing them!
Or, are some folks psuedo-rebel-uber-Tim-ego-trips more important than doing what the Jungle did ie: putting a shift in for the team ?
Ah mean, the IRA don’t exist anymore so, why sing aboot them ?
Does it make the team play better should be the ‘most’ important question always.
There is no currency for IRA songs so, why sing them ?
The Jungle sang rebel songs in support of the armed struggle that was ‘alive’ at that time back in the day.
Noo, it’s all about the Cellic….that’s where the magic is.
H/T
I think Grace is an excellent addition.
I fully understand it’s background but also feel it’s main thrust is that of a first a true love in the face of adversity and oppression.
Reminds me of when I first started supporting Celtic!!
