Rangers relax BBC ban when cash is at stake

953

Rangers today relaxed their ban on the BBC, issued after a documentary with contributions from two former Rangers directors was screened last month.  The BBC booked a paying gig at Ibrox for this afternoon’s game against Dundee United, if Rangers stuck to their principles they would have missed a media payment from the SPL.

Tune in to BBC Scotland this afternoon and listen to the sound of licence payers’ money strut its stuff from Ibrox.

That’s a lot of attacking players. Hope the fullbacks don’t commit themselves forward too often or we’ll get done on the couter attack.

Hopefully we’ll take our chances again today and it won’t matter.

I am told December 9th is a key date for #Rangers . #Celtic need to apply some pressure.

you can add Allan Preston …mini hun

    Jimmy Calderwood …big hun

    very true mate.

I think they feel the need to match Celtic in everything – they have a major insecuruty re us (as well as a toxic hatred of course) and they have to adopt for themselves the injustices Celtic have had foisted upon us over the years. They want to feel discriminated against.

Hence condemming broadcasters as biased, when the evidence shows the opposite to be true.

Incidentally, it is possible to make a case that the recent BBC hun doc was in fact pro-rangers. ANti the current owner, but very much pro Rangers if one is playing the lpng game.

The date will be determined by what best suits Whyte’s financial interests, it will have nothing to do with football.

  6. I have this feeling, way down inside, a strong feeling that we are going to take five or six goals off murderwell today. Just hope i’m right.

We used to batter this mob home and away. It’s time to get rid of this bogey team mentality and hammer them today.

Big shift required from Sami and Stokes.

What guise do you think CW will go for and can the newco scenario come into play regards the spl .

  10. If all our Bhoys turn up today with a determination to work hard and a slight arrogance we will batter them.

Don’t show them too much respect please Celtic.

As a bit of an antidote for all the Utd best ofs of the last 25 years:

Over the next few days I will compile any teams submitted from the following list and publish CQN’S best team of the last 25 years.

To make it relatively easy to compile please stick to the following rules:

    2 Full Backs

    2 Centre Backs

    3 Midfielders

    3 Forwards

3.Only pick players from the relevant list .For example I have listed Roy Aitken as a Centre Back-you can’t pick him as a Midfielder. I’ve no doubt missed some obvious ones but this is the final list!

    GOALKEEPERS

    1.Bonner 2.Gould 3.Douglas 4.D.Marshall 5.Boruc

    Of course it was.

The huns most dangerous enemy at the moment is Whyte, it’s just that they’re too thick to see it.

You’d think Greig resigning would have given them a clue.

  13. Hi all.

  14. The Scottish Football Association will this week hear match official Steven Craven’s appeal against his expulsion from the game.

However, I notice in Windows Media Player that it is all there but I can’t play it. Can I transfer the contents back to My Music file.

My favourite Mark Hately media moment was back in 2004 or 2005 when, after seeing 5 replays of Alex Rae stamping on a player’s head, he said “yup, yeah, I see what’s happened… the player has just head-butted Alex’s boot…”

    Choose a number between 20 and 50.

Then count the number of times he says “you know” in his answer to the question. Within 5 of your chosen number gets you a point. He says “you know” more than any other person on earth.

Would have been happier with Joe playing to give a solid midfield three, but we have to go with the guys that are fit.

ESPN and others assuming that it’s 442 (or 424 on here!), but I would expect a line-up similar to Thursday with Sami out left and Commons tucking in.
