  1. this team still have the chance to have their names in celtic folklore for ever more.

    Don’t pass it up

  2. Awe_Naw_No_Annoni_Oan_Anaw_Noo on

Its all very predictable so why havent we turned up yet ?

    HH

  3. Celtic didn’t start playing till we were 1-0 down and then the red card knocked the stuffing out of us.

Lets see what we are made of in the second half.

its all about making the ball do the work and taking full advantage of set pieces.

  4. Ghuys sending off was soft but Cha was at fault also, wrong side of rangers player nothing he could do but foul him. Not a sending off but Cha was a diddy.

  5. Watching the game live on Fox TV, quietly confident in 10 man Celtic, got a feeling if we score one the hunsmight cave in.

Celtic looking better since Izzy came on. Thought Wallace went down very , very easily for the sending off (go figure).

Still dark o clock over here, c’mon the bhoys.

  6. HT Rangers 1-0 Celtic

Not a good first half from the Bhoys The shape of the team was wrong from the start. Mathews is a right back not a left back. Why play him out of postition when we have Charlie and Izzy who can play there?. We lost a goal and had a man sent of because Cha was selected there.

Looking froward, we now have a better shape but with Sammy on his own up front it is going to be tough. Sammy’s run during the first half was outstanding and he has been our best player with Brown also doing well.

On the sending off, I thought it was a harsh call, yes Cha did have his arm round the forward but it was minimal. Not sure why the ref though it was a goal scoring opportunity worthy of a sending off. Actually, I take that back.we all know why he did. On goal scoring opportnities, we have probably edged it so this game is not over.

I’ll always believe in our bhoys but I always knew the dark forces with their influence in the mibbery, sfa, police and every other institution in this secret society of a country will never let us win today.

  8. OG Rafferty

We never have forward momentum when Ki plays.

The area he covers in midfield has been exposed on various occasions today as he cannot tackle and seems to prefer no mans land.

Our coach has to lose his cautious mentality if he is ever going to be great.

Our big game choking is far to frequent.

  9. Well, surprise surprise! They were NEVER going to let us clinch the title today, let’s face it.

There have been at least three fouls on Samaras alone with both more intent and more actual contact than there was in the challenge that earned Cha Du-Ri a straight red card. Cha didn’t even make a tackle… he was merely running alongside the attacking player, who took a blatant dive.

Last week we see Stokes tripped in the six yard box as he is about to shoot. Result: No foul (penalty) and a yellow card to Stokes for falling over when tripped. Today we see a Rangers player fall over without even being tackled, and a Celtic player sent off (even though he hadn’t yet been booked).

And now Rangers get to play the bulk of the game with an extra two men, including the referee, who is allowing Rangers players to foul with impunity.

I guess we’ll just have to let them have their corrupt, cheating, day in the sun, and we’ll wrap it up at home next week.

Cheating scumbags the lot of them, on and off the pitch.

Annoying thing is, Cha’s sending off was a result of a poor midfield pass from Vic when we had comfortable possesion, allowing them to break quickly on to our defence. We have looked shaky at the back and if you add to that a bent referee it’s going to be tough 2nd half.

  11. Jelly-Anne Ice Cream on

Having reffed the odd game myself, I take a keen interest in the man in the middle.

    Today…..CHEAT.

It’s so obvious he’s been told that under no circumstances do Timmy win the league at Ibrokes.

Same old Scotland, same old Refs, same old SFA

  12. Not read any comments on here yet, I dont think we’ve turned up today, down to 10 men so I’ll be happy with the draw but can’t see where it’s Gonnae come from with Stokesey off.

  13. Keevins…team of losers

They will win the league before the Easter holidays ya senile old fool

  14. Ki looked very PASSIVE at their goal

Ran alongside Aluko and then dropped aff.

He has offered very little since and we are struggling in MF

  15. Dickie Davies Eyes on

If they win this I wonder if there will be any talk of a “tainted” OF victory.

    I doubt it.

  16. StMichaelsBhoy2 on

    Infuriating first half.

First off, I’m fed up being undone by this mob’s “lump it high to a big forward to knock it down to a nippy runner” tactics. Why oh why do we STILL not have a centre half capable of standing up to the likes of Elbows McCulloch????? A supremely limited footballer who would be handled very easily as a centre forward by virtually every other team in the league.

We have also been woefully disorganised, lacking any shape or discernable approach to the game. I’ve a feeling Lenny has been caught in two minds between playing it cagey and really going for it, and we’ve fallen between two stools. I can think of at least two occassions other than their goal when we’ve been slices apart through their forwards picking the ball up in front of our defence, with the midfield nowhere in sight. We don’t deserve to be anything other than a goal down after that first half.

Having got my criticisms of the performance out of the way, our job is being made well-nigh impossible by the shocking performance of Callum “Ah didnae feel threatened” Murray.

EVERY decision is going their way. Wallace – a player they cannot pay for – dived as he chased the ball along with Cha and Murray couldn’t wait to get his red card out. And what they have to do to get penalised for fouling Sami, I don’t know.

Time for Lenny to earn his corn now. We MUST get organised for the second half. Get a shape for the team and stick to it first of all, then work out how we’re going to get back into this.

I’d move Vic to centre half, Ledley to centre-mid and Cha Mulgrew to left back. Someone HAS to put Elbows in his box.

We also need to make sure you can’t get a fag paper between our defence and midfield, otherwise, their long balls will give them all the scraps they need in and around our box. It’s like last year’s LC Final all over again.

Given that we’re a man down and playing against twelve (none of whom they can afford to pay wages for), we’ll be doing well to get out of here with a draw.

  17. I am NL in NZ Tauranga on

can’t find a link thanks for the updates. No surprises except maybe ten men can win the league at the bigotdome. That would be special. c’mon Sammie time to become a legend. Laughing at rangers every day.

  18. Charlie Nick and McCann fighting to see who can be the biggest Hun. What a bunch. Both agreed it was a red card—aye, right! Put the big Pole up front, take Ki off. He’s doing very little. Get the foot on the ball. Celtic still the better side even with 10 men.

  19. kevinlasvegas on

Ref aside Bhoys, we again started flat. Is it big games or have we hit another dip. I wonder. let’s see if Lenny cant sort it at HT. For me Cha and Ki aren’t good enough for the team.

Charlie Nicholas, I once thought of you as a hero. Now your just a complete wazoo. Why can we not have Hartson or Sutton on tv for games

  21. Keevins has lost the plot – he is so bitter and twisted he cant see straight – he desperately wants us to lose – no doubt his newspaper will say we are in crisis and crack our crest?

  22. Cha is a luxury you can afford at home when he can bomb forward to his hearts content without worry. Playing him in a tough fixture like today is a recipe for disaster.

  23. Margaret McGill on

Celtic completely outplayed first 10 mins.

Rogne, Cha and Stokes are not Celtic Class.

Jury still out on a few others.

SFA MIBS HUNS POALICE have predetermined the result.

Cha red because ref realized he couldn’t give a penalty.

Samaras twice been physically removed from the ball that if in reverse would have been yellows.

No Celtic triumph at the home of hunnery today.

    Legendary otherwise.
