I watched the game yesterday with my old man. Completely relaxed and never in any doubt that we’d win. It was just a matter of how many.

If they thought it was even first half then God help them.

  2. Was in Belfast two weeks ago visiting friends. Just watched 66, the Bobby Sands documentary/film.

What a sacrifice, young lad who will be revered forever.

Interesting discussion about Griffs taking corner due to his delivery. We should get The bhoy Celtic by numbers to analyse the stats, I would be surprised if our score rate at corners is greater than 5%

    ———————

5% would be good return according to this article, which quotes Opta stats as 3.2% for the EPL

I can think of recently Boyata had a purple patch of scoring from corners. And then he got injured.

  4. Don’t see Griff scoring from corners much, so his delivery is more important.

Anyway, if that’s what BR wants then who are we to argue.

    Hamilton ?

Is it ok to ask where in Hamilton ?

I used to frequent the Palace :-)and the Bay Horse

As a wee bhoy the Tollbooth has been my favourite pub, even kicking a ball with the Sarrie Head… but Eastenders sponsored the fitba team, no wonder I was confused

  8. Hey, Teddys used to be a good Tim pub. Taken over by mutants.

Next time you’re in Hamilton give me a shout. A good mate of mine runs Hemmingways which is a Ra pub to the core.

Watching the game again – Walker is an embarrassment.

Saw the handball by the Hun defender clear as day on the replay.

You can argue either way whether it was or was not a penalty.

Point was – he never even mentioned that it happened. Just said “….Griffiths looking for….(big pause as he realises what he has just seen)…a corner”).

Watch it back – unbelievable – especially when compared to the detailed (and one-sided) analysis of the Jozo tackle a few minutes later.

Shocking bias in all of his commentaries in Celtic games.

There he is again. Windyarse brings a ball down on the halfway line – controls it against his own hand then turns backwards into his own half (and gets tripped by Armstrong).

    Nothing remarkable.

    Walker:

    – “What control by Windass”

    – “Magnificent” (ffs!!!!)

    – “That’s how dangerous he can be”

    A total balloon.

    BGFC

    – “Ideally, you want to see him further up the pitch doing that”

  11. BGFC,

if you listen to Walker at the first goal he says Rogic finds the top corner,

it was nearly in the middle of the goal

  12. Gerrybhoy,

Definitely a Timposter. Far too articulate and grammatically correct not to be.

Timposter addressed each of our points in an alternative fashion so as to engage the deluded sevconian.

    Very good wind up imo.

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. The poster is no mug.

Would anyone happen to know if this is true ?

” And last but not least, state schooling in Scotland. Politicians talk endlessly of fairness and equality ā€“ and I agree, I genuinely want fairness and equality. But fairness and equality means the same treatment for all; so how, I ask, in a multicultural, multireligious society can state funded religious schools be provided to one denomination of one faith and no state funding for schools be provided to the plethora of other faiths, how is that fair and equal? I am confused. “
