Relentless pillage of transfer stories wearisome

802

News (confirmed by his club) that our next Champions League opponents Juventus have opened negotiations with Athletic Blibao striker Fernando Llorente, ahead of a possible free-transfer move in the summer, appears to put recent fantasy stories about Gary Hooper supposedly moving to Turin in the correct context.  Liverpool, who several newspapers also ‘reported’ were interested in Hooper, signed a different striker this week.

The relentless pillage of Celtic player’s names used to sell newspapers is wearisome, probably more so to those at the club hoping to convince Hooper, and Victor Wanyama, to sign new contracts.  Chances of re-signing Hooper if he thinks Juventus and Liverpool are about to bid for him: 0%. Chances if it’s relegation battlers from England: considerably higher. I see a new front has been opened today on Beram. We have to ensure another 28 days of this nonsense.

Llorente is a current Spanish international and played a huge part in Atheltic’s march to the Europa League final last season, but I would not be too concerned if Juventus tried to secure him this month.  Moving to Turin is notoriously challenging for strikers and Llorente has never been based outside of the Basque country.

One thing is for sure your brother obviously got to where he is by being good at his work. His managers would have known he was not one of them.

The ones above me where good to me, they were not bigots, just institutionalised through the shipyards and beyond, they needed me to do the jobs they could not do, and thought that I would continue to do the work when they decided to place one of their brethren above me.

I had a really hard time through their 9inarow, but I did not buckle, I stood my ground and slagged the death out of them when we stopped the 10.

Aye, not knowing masonry that intimately, my first instinct is that they should be treated as a seperate entity, and judged by Scotland’s bigotry.

The whole thing is wrong on the most basic level, but they aren’t quite the same beast as the huns or the OO.

What I’ve found is that, there is no argument from masons when you challenge them about the basic wrongness of being a secret society, and its favouritism towards members over people who are vulnerable and should be getting more protection, whether we refer to law, welfare, or anything else.

As long as they are all told that those in the level above them are doing great charity work, the secrecy makes it difficult to expose the truth to those who’ve been indoctrinated. And sadly the indoctrinated include many many good good people who just can’t think too deeply in this regard, and get sucked in to something which will can only get murkier the more involved you get.

Missed out on a couple of games and some internet time due to a wee holiday.

Anyway, I just watched the “highlights” from yesterdays game and I don’t know what everyone is getting their pants bent out of shape about. That ball was definitely on the spot when the penalty was taken. FFS, my night vision goggles could even see that.

Is this Rami bhoy any good and how much if anything is he about to cost us? I only heard about his arrival in Glasgow through a quick read back of today’s posts.

It’s worrying that it looks like he’s the only one coming in and we’ve got our whole first team heading out for a princely sum of about a billion shekles. I’m cancelling my flight to london in may, if this is the way we can expect to be treated by our club,,,,,ffs.

MWD, hunnish oz neighbors is a worrying thought, thankfully that’s less hunnish neighbors for us left to handle here in scotland. I’m sure if the firestorm doesn’t get them, he can kindle up a wee flame of his own.
