Any word on why no KC? Thought we looked mobile today. Enjoyed Charlie ripping the full back, watching the players having a laugh, Johansen is so much more effective when he has protection behind him.

  2. thanks for all the updates mhen

a good result for sure and it sounded like a good performance too

maybe Ronny has learned a bit and changed the formation accordingly

  3. Chuffed to bits watching a Celtic team play with a normal structure…we have good players if they aren’t played played out of position.

    Ronny…football is a simple game.

    No need to tinker.

Feel as if a cloud is beginning to lift…early days.

No Scots in his team ? Gordon, Mulgrew, Brown, McGregor ? Add Stokes and Matthews as Brits. This is more home grown players than our recent managers played.

Totally agree with you about fitness and attitude. Stokes e.g. looks a lot fitter

Might even give up the Irn Bru and chips myself

Really enjoyed that performance. Well done Ronny and The Bhoys, and Hamiltontim’s cameo appearance. Magic :)

I would love CQN to have a night at C.P. in aid of food-banks in the east end. (Dinner/Dance?)

Hope your daughter had a great day and enjoys a swashbuckling performance from the hoops.

I’ve already predicted 5 -0 to the hoops so she will love it.

The blog knows I’m never wrong!!

Great result , well done to all and the away support.

    And Izzy ok too.

    Is that confirmed, Izzy`s ok?

I will leave the dinner decision to those resident in Scotland.

    However,

I think you are overly critical of the football side.

We all knew this was to be a transitional season, new manager, new methods, new style, new players.

Fans come and go. Supporters stay.

Attendances fluctuate depending on different variables.

Results, opposition, weather, competition, day, time, cost of ticket etc.

We are a long way from being the best team in Europe mainly because we are far from being the richest club in Europe.

We will have good games, poor games and indifferent games.

We will improve this season. We will still have to negotiate a difficult qualifying series to get into a European tournament.

The roller coaster will continue but hopefully the downslope will be shorter and the upslope longer.

Been RD biggest critic. Thought his tactical changes today was good. Solid midfield giving the forward players service. 4 home games all winnable let’s hope it’s onward and upward.

Good to see the happy clappers…well…happy. However, Ronny might just screw things up next week, so don’t go overboard. Keep your feet firmly planted in the air…consistency is what is required…

  14. Reporter on shortbread said Izzy was walking about fine and said that he looked at him as though he was daft when asked if he was ok.

Just a few minutes earlier Ronny said Izzy was fine and wouldn’t be out for long.

    the Celtic way

    Hope that helps

  15. Heading back to Inverness for a relaxing beer or two and a bite to eat before the drive back to Edinburgh.

Really enjoyed that result and performance today. My son and I had a tenner each on Guidetti first goal, which is the icing on the cake.

Fantastic atmosphere in the Celtic stand behind the goals and great to see 4 goals in the first half.

Just heard on the radio that Izzy is ok. Great news.

    Now looking forward to Thursday.

Well done Ronny and the players.

    Hail Hail.

  16. The big question is –

Will Ronny bring KC back in?

Stokes has always been a clever player but I, like others, have never felt he has really convinced.

Maybe, just as Ronny changed Johansen from a winger going nowhere into an international central player he can turn AS into a quality wide man.

Thought Denayer was excellent again today also

  17. Hail Hail from Grenada

    Well done the Hoops

Sounds that team had much better balance today, by strengthening midfield, so we’ll done Celtic Management team on that

Now back to the pool :-)

I really enjoyed Paisley, my only awayday this season. Intend to start attending more away fixtures this season.
