TOSB, As well as being (IMHO) the best Celtic blog around, the narrative always veers into other topics, be it music, politics and yes other football teams.

To demand an embargo on discussion of other games/teams on the blog in case your afternoons up the spout, is pretty arrogant.

The onus is on you to stay out the road, not the rest of the blog, to adhere to your ‘off limits’ regulations.

    ……………………………..

O.K. Sir. Message received and misunderstood. Remind me, if you will, just exactly where and when I demanded an embargo.

I’ll take my arrogant ass elsewhere.

Is it the English Channel or La Manche? Suppose it all depends what side of the sleeve you were educated.

You home for that game? Hope so. :-))

  4. Hope Ronny doesn’t tinker with the team/formation for Thursday’s game. A straight swap of Scepovic for Guidetti is all that’s required.

Keep Commons, if fit, on the bench.

You sound like a wise old headmaster trying to keep the CQN big kids under control. It will never catch on :-)

I’ve never met Auldheid, but your description of him is exactly the way I imagine him…no offence intended sir :)

Old fashioned headmasters used to pause every now and then even if it was just for a fag!

Over the last 5 years or so I have spoken to Auldheid more often than I have spoken to some of my relatives and you have to concentrate on his pauses so that you can jump in and get a word in edgeways!

Further, he doesn’t go to sleep very often.

Cue a well hackneyed phrase about pots and kettles in the very near future!

So Lenny was sent to the stand today.

I’m sure the Scottish media will be happy to furnish their English counterparts with a photo of a ‘snarling’ NL from their vast library of ‘snarling’ NL images.

My essential point was that some bloggers no eff all about football.

You can tell them by their absence.

Assuming your self imposed ban on EL matches is still in place : I guess you will be watching with your feet up in your Timbar ;)

Were there any CTV issues today?

I elected to watch in my mates bar but I’ve been in touch with CTV re complaints last game and can feed any back.

I think CTV is the future but the service has to be sound. (And vision)

We are going to miss Guidette.

Watched lymmbhoys posts of the goals….scored the 1st, good movement and awareness to play a part with the 2nd and won the initial header from the corner to create the strammash which led to the 3rd despite a bit of pushing and shoving.

We have been badly needing someone who wants to get on the end of anything that comes anywhere near and into the penalty box for tooooo long.

    What a difference he makes.

  12. Auldheid,

Love your educating information, I iurked for a long while before I got the bottle to post.

Yourself, paul 67 and so many others on here and other blogs always kept me so many steps ahead of the huns in work during the kill period.

It got to the stage, the tims (not that there is many) called me scoop…and the huns…well.. If I was unpopular before they died…by feck…I became satan in their eyes…not that they can lift them often.

So thanks for all the digging that you and others do.

It’s will always good to be a tim. HH

  13. Celtic had only won once here in five previous visits and they did it with style and flair to-day. The return of the injured lads and moving Johansen to a forward position seems to suit his game, he was immense. He has some engine for such a slight fellow. Great result and confidence builder for the European game on Thursday night. Great pity Guidetti is ineligible, do we have any chance of signing this guy or will he be heading back to Manchester if he is successful here, he is looking the part.

It’s a relief that Izzy did not take that knock on his old previous ankle injury. Dreadful tackle by Gardiner and if that had been a GAA or rugby club game that guy would have paid a price.

  14. Is Michael Gardyne a Knuckledragger, i didnt think it was a bad tackle. izzys ok so couldnt have been that bad, as for Matthews, looks if he wants to be back playing in Wales or England
