I question my faith daily, but it worked ok for my parents and in my 45+ years never met a bad priest yet, my good lady has no faith at all but loves the wee tins upbringing, in my eyes if it works don’t break it….. As for Ronny …. I am a believer !
Said puppet will continue with one up front. Plan B is Plan A with subs who were not good enough to start.
All the time Lawwell is scouring the team to see if there is anyone worth punting to deliver the financial results that means bonus time.
If anybody thinks Lawwell will ditch Roony who has failed against Scottish pub teams and mediocre euro opposition they are misguided. If anybody thinks Lawwell will invest in the team for the CL qualifiers they are seriously misguided.
Look at the decline of the team under Lawwells masterclass in downsizing. Look at the apathy of the fans and the funeral like atmosphere at Celtic Park.
For many the result today is not a surprise … It was half expected with noises being made about the state of the pitch.
After today Lawwell will accelerate the downsizing……the bonus is at risk as he chases the £10M loot from Celtic. Only £1.4M to go for the highest paid employee in Celtics history.
A defeat at Aberdeen will see Ronny sacked and Collins appointed until the end of the season. Collins will fancy his chances of becoming the Manager…..and of course he is a Lawwell appointment that was forced on Ronny.
Wednesday is huge for Ronny, Collins and Lawwell. Let’s see if the Celtic dressing room is behind the manager.

The Herlds capitulation to vested interests is scary. I must admit I do like Spiers but his sacking is absolutely scandalous as is the treatment of Angela Haggerty. Whatever happened to freedom of the press ? Just not in Scotland. Ironic that it’s Celtic supporters calling for a Rangers supporting journo to be reinstated.
If the truth be known I have for long enough, today was the icing on the cake for me.
I just don’t like slagging off our players and coaches, they do the best they can, but I really can’t contemplate another failed shot at CL qualification, and it will fail with the present coaches.

I had a bad premonition this week
My 2 young ghirls
Were heading to Aberdeen
For a Christian youth meeting
Bad dreams
Of dread
I asked my Lord Almighty
To protect my two ghirls
Set out on Saturday
To drop them off
Amongst the bad weather
And it was cancelled
Never been so relieved in my life
Although
I promised
To go

What manager could provide the entitlement we desire.
Commons should not have played again at his euro shenanigans. If Lawwell is punting him to Forest on loan it is a combination of downsizing and taking out one of the senior leaders in the dressing room.
Whoever is behind the Feynoord signing they need their head examined. An average of 3.8 goals per season over 10 years is Wayne Biggens territory. How many dud forwards have Lawwell and Parks signed…Pukki, Bangura, Rasmussen, Balde, Ciftci, Scepovic, Boeriggter…..too name a few.
We had a decent one but didn’t want to pay the going rate to Hooper.
It is complete mismanagement that is driving the downsizing. Our footballing budget is being wasted on a bloated squad of non achievers.

Bobby, I don’t disagree, but Ronnie is not showing the very basic aptitude of an amateur team manager. Somebody ( apologies for not remembering who ) asked earlier for evidence of ANY game where a tactical decision of his brought us victory. I can’t think of one.
Now, I am frankly pished at the moment after attending a Burn’s Supper until late, then imbibing a slew of real ales, ports and sherries today, so I can type better than I can speak.
Once again, talk about trebles has come back to bite us. When will we ever learn?
Hope to recover, but I am really despondent about the state of Scottish football today.

Friesdorfer @ 1103. Intent plays no part in the decision. The Law ( not rule) states only that the action occurs it makes no mention of intent.
Also for clarity , guidance on the interpretation of the law states
Referees should consider the following circumstances when deciding whether to send off a player for denying a goal or an obvious goalscoring opportunity:
• the distance between the offence and the goal
• the likelihood of keeping or gaining control of the ball
• the direction of the play
• the location and number of defenders
• the offence which denies an opponent an obvious goalscoring opportunity
may be an offence that incurs a direct free kick or an indirect free kick.
Note the Ref should CONSIDER.. It makes no mention of all 4 criteria having to be met.
Just think if we are going to discuss it always helps to at least know the facts.
