    RD couldn’t get them out early enough, he should never have given into demands to give Commons a new deal.

     

     

    Their times are well gone, it is the Celts of the Future that are the Most important and to be fecking honest, they have been dreadful Senior players IMO, selfish feckers.

     

     

    Only Broonie comes oot of the whole thing with credit, IMO.

    John Terry being released by Chelsea at the end of the season, wants to play elsewhere for two years, but not in the EPL. I think we should sign him. Guy is a jerk, but he is a complete professional, and would really solidify our back 4. After playing and watching football for over 50 years, I have never seen a player who attempts to block the route to goal the way Terry does. It’s worth a punt.

    Very poor result today.

     

    For months I used to read on here about how Lustig was one of our few really top players. Think one contributor even called him World Class. At least some people now seeing that he is a weak link.

     

    Would anyone really offer him a new contract??

     

     

    Just need to make do with a double now!

    Well I have calmed down a bit now so some thoughts(at the game thoughts): After losing a man and a goal via a penalty so early it was always going to need real grafters on our team to get any kind of result and that is something we are sadly lacking. At least ‘in by-gone days’ we had men on the park who would battle all the way and everyone on here knows of such players no matter how long or short your supporting is. How many out there today? ‘Not a lot,not a lot’ In fact probably only one. Sad days when we can’t get fighters even when we cannot get players of previous Celtic teams. Still be supporting the Bhoys fully,but they don’t half make it hard. At least if if I am going to Heaven I should get to skip Purgatory since I have been supporting Celtic for more than 70 years:) :))

    I am perfectly well aware of the Laws of the Game, having been a referee for 25 years. Intent is critical. Any foul by definition has to be an intentional act, otherwise it is not a foul. However, if “in the opinion of the referee” it is intentional, then that is that.

    Watched both semi finals on Sportscene. I know it was only highlights but young McGinn showed the kind of attitude and heart that was lacking in a few hooped jerseys today.

    We have discussed this before and I would agree that if we could sign him then I would. He is not short of money with his mega money book deal, he has always cited affinity with us and we could offer him a new challenge without crossing the Atlantic.

     

     

    A better leader of defenders I have yet to see. Maybe not the most pleasant of individuals, but I would take him in an instant.

     

     

    Also, his personal life ( although not to my taste )should not count against him as we already have a player who has been fined for immigration tweets.

    Are we to let them vent their hate for our manager, our team our board without question?

    I have sourced the story of Carlton Cole’s tweet. I am not sure what his intent was here but it sounds like a joke gone wrong, rather than a belittlement of any individual or group:-

    just in from pub, probably about 10 Celtic supporters or those with a leaning towards Celtic present, 8 out of the ten opinionated penalty and sending off. If like Aberdeen last week your down to 10 men and are capable of putting the ball in the net more times than your opposition you will win the game no matter the obstacles put in your way. Today Celtic were incapable and it had nothing to do with referees.
