See this magic Plan B?
Why isn’t it Plan A?
I mean if its better than Plan A why not make it Plan A?
Or is it some magical rearrangement using 3 guys after a game starts that always turns the game?
If it doesn’t, what’s worse Plan A or Plan B that does’nt work either?
Like the campaign by an envious press to make not winning a treble a failure, this Plan B is another phrase that has no meaning other than to detract.
Either we are good enough on the day to triumph over the opposition including the refs or we ain’t.
Sunday we weren’t. Lost because we were not good enough to beat a team with a man advantage. Plan Z would not have addressed that.
What is clearly wrong is no bite or attitude in midfield and a big guy who will go through a brick wall to head a ball clear and have forwards looking over their shoulders. There are more than enough technically good players to allow an intimidator or two.
That’s my Plan B and Plan A.

Efe Ambrose was the only option ( as per normal ) given that Simunovic was injured and E O’Connell isn’t rated.
But don’t let it get in the way of the haters who were also out in force for Boyata before a ball was kicked.

We are dragged through the mire analysing defeats on an at least annual basis when we’ve less players than the other team.
However, – we conceded goals when a different coach might have set us out differently to last years reduction in numbers, which resulted in the same as today.
We could see what was coming even though Celtic supporters expect to win with ten men, the manager should know better.

Even without the benefit of a replay today I knew it was a penalty and sending off. I couldn’t even be bothered to watch the second half today so I am totally unaware at what time Celtic got their penalty but I imagine there would have been ample time for them to go and seek an equaliser be it 5 minutes to go or 15 minutes to go if it had been converted. As for Craig Gordon moaning about getting pushed six yards along his goal line…….well I’m six foot odds and there is no chance I’m getting pushed that far if I was really committed to the cause. Too many players in that team think because they are picking up 10 times the wages of their opposition,all they have to do is turn up and the result is in the bag. 90% of that team today don’t give a flying monkeys wether they are winning trophies or not as long as their inflated wages are going into the bank at the end of the week. I don’t profess to know how the bonus system works at Celtic Park ,if there is one, however I guarantee you that nobody will be having their wages docked no matter how many inept performances they have. You can put all the blame on referees and corrupt systems how many times you want but many of us know what the real truth was today …..the better team won

No Celtic supporter I have spoken to thought it was a sending off. Two thought penalty, vast majority thought dive. All thought ref had significant “bearing” on outcome.
Didn’t get a chance to ask but I’m sure most would think 10 v 11 puts you at a disadvantage and makes it harder to win or else Celtic playing with 10 should be a new rule in SFA rule book ……oh hold on a minute.
Some people on here talk some pish….who knows maybe they have an agenda (maybe wind up merchants).

Aberdeen didn’t find it too much of a problem to put 3 past Ross County with ten men last week even without the vast expanses that are afforded by the Hampden Pitch…….I will repeat the best team won today accept it

If you read back I already said that team were pish. Tierney was good as was Sviatchenko. Very few others got pass marks. Also said for the avoidance of doubt that shirt obviously does shrink to fit inferior players but to state that referees decisions had no bearing on outcome is ludicrous in the extreme. Now some are saying that wrestling with a goalkeeper is ok. Point I made earlier how many of these decisions would be given if they were advantageous to Celtic?
Looks like in some people’s eyes Refereeing in Scotland is up to the required standard. Is anyone seriously arguing that Celtic would not have won that match if 11 had remained on the pitch?

Ambrose initially was caught out by the through ball.He was slow to react.Granted the contact was minimal,but he should have stood off the guy.Clumsiness personified .
I am not blaming Ambrose singly though.

Are St Johnstone CONSTANTLY on the receiving end of mystifying decisions by the MIBs? If it was a one off but you cannot seriously be arguing that Celtic don’t get it tight re reffing decisions.
Now some of those in possession of a Celtic jersey at the minute that’s a whole different argument and I have some sympathy with Sandmans point about even a 10 man Tic expecting something today. With regard to a 10 man Aberdeen beating Ross C . After the sending off Aberdeen got more than their fair share of debate able decisions. With Celtic today ,and again I mentioned this in an earlier post, it was to provide some sort of justification for the blatant decisions against Celtic.
With regards to the best team won…. Ross C were the best team but it’s easy to be the best team when you have superior numbers and know that the laws of the game are not going to be evenly applied.

What drivel are you talking about sir or were you an editor of the Celtic View in a previous life. Accept the fact that over the 90 minutes Ross County were the better team today. Fact is quite a few of their team don’t have the access to the training facilities and regime to those afforded to our superstars but they were hungrier today to progress to a national final after their initial setback. Too many Celtic players thought the game was in the bag after 30 seconds and switched off

How many trophies in Scotland have Celtic won in your lifetime compared to trophies we have won in Europe……show me concrete unequivocal proof to back up your argument that Celtic are discriminated against in Scotland compared to the European stage and I will accept what you say. there again I suppose that at Motherwell a few years ago Scott McDonald was in on the great Masonic plot
