Samaras preparations need a rethink

875

Georgios is hugely important to Celtic on Champions League duty.  His presence and experience is crucial, but his ability to hold the ball up, often the subject of frustration for some in SPL games, is fundamental to Celtic’s chances of playing at this level.

Georgios Samaras hamstring injury, coming late in the first half against Kilmarnock, is a carbon copy of the injury he picked up late in the first half against Berwick Rangers two years ago this month.  Hamstrings mostly to go early in games, or early in the second half, before players muscles are properly warmed and stretched.  It is unusual for a player to get well into a game, when limbs should be stretched, before picking up this kind of injury.  Time for a rethink of the player’s preparations on cold days.

I only saw around 10 minutes of the Scottish Cup tie at Tannadaice this afternoon but was unfortunate to witness Ian Black twice make an offensive hand gesture, once apparently aimed at the Dundee United support.  If he was wearing green  I’m sure he would be dealt with.

I had a beautiful wee dog, a real wee lovable rascal, we called him Blacksmith, that’s cause everytime you kicked him up the bahooky he made a bolt for the door.

And then we had a beautiful wee cute labradoodle we called him porky ( but we won’t go ito that) :>)).

Sorry, just my wee bad jokes, I had a best friend westie for thirteen years, she used to growl at all the family except me, but Mrs Greenwells was heartbrokn when she died.

It took us a good three years before we got our present westie and she is just a joy, this one loves the wife, kids now away from home but they both dote on her. I would suggest the name Brooke, it’s short, one sylable and won’t confuse the dog. Good luck, and good dogging?

It would be excellent if there were some appreciative Turnbull Hutton banners at the game tomorrow.

A few quid spent on their lottery might be a practical way of showing appreciation, too.

I have shown my appreciation that way.

  9. Apologies to Glasgowghirl with the dug name suggestion . I should have said ‘her name will live forever and then be used by insecure but very funny comedy actors’ . Sami is better though.

The calibre of the EPL is declining rapidly.Man Utd going to romp that league with a mediocre team and a shower of mercanaries from throughout the world queing up to bulge their bank balances not giving a flying one about who they are playing for as long as the readies are there.Joke of a league best summed up by Odemwingie driving to Loftus Road whilst under contract to WBA and hanging about like a wean outside a wedding car waiting for the scramble.

TH should be the first guy put on this new streamlined Scottish Football Board.

If there was a way to do a poll of all Football fans in Scotland, I’m sure he would be so far in front it would be scarey.

Rangers, and the subsequent Sevco, have been utterly exposed for what they really are.

The next stage is the demolition of Ibrox and that will happen soon, not soon enough really but it will happen within the next 2 years IMO. It may even happen next week, that is how precarious things are there.

When the Big Hoose has been repossessed, I would not advise anyone to shop there as there will be plenty zombies, ghouls and very angry spirits filled with hate wanting to do anything they can to make your time there horrific.

Great to hear that the big chap could return between the sticks tomorrow and wee Jamesy may also make a return. Just in time to get some game time in before the big one.

I got a text from a pal who uses twitter. He tells me that Jackie Mac is recieving abuse and various threats from the sons of sevconia. I’m not a twitter user, can anyone confirm this to be true? Shocking if it is. Do these cretins never learn?

  19. Won’t name names .

I was at a birthday party tonight.

A local millionaire who was the primary moneyman behind John Bomber brown was introduced to my company.

Immediately upon our introduction ,he gave me a Masonic handshake.

I was able to look him directly in the eye, whilst readjusting my grip and give him a firm wholesome handshake in return.

Whilst looking him in the eye ,I told him that I was a Celtic man.

He turned his glaze away from me and said out loud “Ya dirty Fenian B’std.”

This caused mild embarrassment for some and others sycophantically laughed.

They have no shame ,and are bigoted to the core.

I will post some more of what he said at a later date.

But, be assured the Sevcovians in the know, don’t trust Charlie one bit.

    Infact some despise him.

Regarding the naming of Glasgowgirl’s dug. If she waits a week or two the name “Nimmo” may be a very good and appropriate choice.
