I think Algerians thought the same about the away goals rule. Now they are all greeting uncontrollably. Must be cruel to think you are through then have it snatched away seconds later. I thought that only happened to Scotland.

Just wow.i got that game and the pro Algerian commentator sounded like an Arabic version of the Norwegian commentator from many years ago “Maggie your boys took a hell of a beating” line as Algeria step towards history by qualifying,…players dropping with cramp..then Cameroon score, he didn’t sound to good.great 5 min watch tho
Re Doaks I hope he does sign on too,I don’t like to see us loose talent but as you were saying earlier the scouting databases of big clubs are massive but the decision to sign is totally that individuals,in our example Doaks.
It’s an odd example but I remember The Battered Bunnett doing analysis about youngsters coming thro,iirc the success rate was the same,in some cases harder to be a consistent top flight footballer than a neuro surgeon!!
